The café’s most popular item is its Hamburg steak gratin. Consisting of a piping hot Hamburg steak covered with a cream sauce and cheese, it’s perfect for a relaxing lunch. The café’s extensive menu also includes 50 varieties of black tea and 15 varieties of cheesecake plus other desserts. Not to mention seasonal and limited time only teas and sweets. This coffee shop, managed by two generations of the same family for about 40 years, is located near Shirahama Hot Spring. The light and airy cafe with huge windows is a favorite spot for local residents to relax. In addition to a retro menu of freshly ground coffee, hot dogs made according to the original owner's recipe, and mixed juices, the cafe serves chewy bagel sandwiches made with low-calorie bagels from Canada. Available drinks include Kumano-produced Jabara Cider, a carbonated beverage made from citrus fruits.
