This museum is approximately ten minutes on foot from JR Yuasa Station. It occupies a public bath house founded in the Edo Period (1603–1868) in Shimoshincho, part of Yuasa's Important National Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. The current structure was built in the early Meiji Period (1868–1912), and the locals used it for recreation until it closed in 1985. The town restored it after taking over the property, and it maintains the look of years gone past. The bath house has posters from the Showa Period (1926–1989) and old telephones, and the main hall has a collection of donated stage props on display.

This roadside station on National Route 311 is often used as a base for exploring Tanabe City's Oto area. With mountains and rivers close by, you can enjoy a variety of seasonal activities like fishing and viewing the colored leaves in the fall. Their shop offers local specialty products like Kinzanji-miso and lots of seasonal items including wild vegetables and ayu sweet fish. Oto is a wood production area, and their exchange hall holds highly popular woodworking classes. Their restaurant's Inaka Bento lunch boxes (limited to eight a day) and Kumano-no-Ankake udon noodles get good reviews.

Originally founded as a Shingon-sect temple called Saihouji temple in 1227 this temple in Yura Town, Hidaka County, Wakayama, is now a Rinzai-sect Buddhist temple affiliated with the Myojin-ji school. It converted to a Zen Buddhist temple in 1258 before later becoming a famous temple in the Rinzai-sect. The area is famous as being the birthplace of Kinzanji-miso, soy-sauce, and the shakuhachi bamboo flute. While the temple treasure is kept secret, it is home to other Important Cultural Properties of Japan including a masterpiece seated statue and a silk painting of Master Kokushi, both from the Kamakura period. The Tengu Festival held every January on the Coming of Age Day and the Fire Festival held August 15th always draw large numbers of visitors.

    Wakayama Arida-shi Hoshio 37
This hot spring facility is located approximately seven minutes by taxi from the JR Kinokuni Line's Minoshima Station in Arida City, Wakayama Prefecture. The soft, pleasant-feeling springs are effective for skin diseases and can be enjoyed in an outdoor bathing area, complete with a tatami-floored relaxation room, and hot spring saunas that use vaporized spring water. The facility also houses a sauna that warms your body from the inside out using Binchotan white charcoal. In addition to offering rental baths, there is a restaurant with seafood dishes such as longtooth grouper.

This ranch and recreational area is a 25-minute drive from Hanwa Expressway's Kainan Interchange. Unusual in that their dairy cattle graze year-round, they sell original soft serve and regular ice cream. You can also have a barbecue, and its fine to bring your pet along. Enjoy Kurosawa Highland, their short golf course, to your heart's content even if you come alone.

"This hot spring facility is in Ryujin-mura, Tanabe City. Ryujin Onsen is said to have been discovered about 1,200 years ago by Kobo Daishi through a dream of the dragon god Nanda Ryuo. Now thought of as one of Japan's top three beauty enhancing hot springs, the hydrogen carbonate water is so good for the skin it's known as “Keshosui Irazu,"" the “No Need for Skin Lotion Springs."" Located in the lush forests surrounding the World Heritage Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route and Koyasan, its open-air bath forms a partial ring around the indoor bath. The hot spring is also available for day-use, so it's a great spot to stop in for a rest."

This cottage garden was erected by Chojiro Nitta, the founder of Nitta Corporation, from the start of the Taisho period until the start of the Showa period. Located in Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, it is the largest personal garden in Japan. The water levels of the three ponds, which draw water from the sea, change according to the tides, a rare design. There are pine trees and garden stones, and the beautiful layout is dotted with a teahouse with a thatched roof, a tatami room, and more. It has even been designated a “place of scenic beauty,” and the buildings are Important Cultural Properties.

"Located a five-minute drive from the Nanki Tanabe Interchange on the Hanwa Expressway, this is a base for ""locally grown, locally consumed"" food in JA Kinan, and it is the largest farmers' market in the region. Varieties of sweet mandarin oranges are available throughout the year, and since free samples are provided, customers can ""try before they buy."" The food sold here, whether it is saury sushi, miso, pickled vegetables, or bread, is all handmade on local farms, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, for a real homemade taste. There is also a wide selection of locally produced dried plums and tea products. From time to time, events are held in which customers can try harvesting mandarin oranges or plums or arranging flowers."

"Located about a 30-minute drive from the Arita Interchange, this park stands at the summit of Washigamine Peak with an altitude of 586 meters. As its name suggests, its most distinctive feature is that it is covered by an expanse of cosmos flowers, an incredible sight from late September to early October. It is also known as a prime flower-viewing site from early to mid May when the azaleas are in full bloom. Since the park is on top of a mountain, visitors can see as far as Awajishima island or Shikoku on clear days. Within the park is a building designed to suggest a soaring eagle, called "" Cosmos-to-Kaze-no-Yakata,"" which contains a rest area where visitors can watch the scenery as they eat packed lunches they have brought."
