This tourist facility is annexed to a dried plum factory in Minabe Town, Hidaka County, Wakayama Prefecture and offers both shopping and factory tours. The direct sales shop carries Kishu Nanko plums and other products straight from the factory as well as processed plum goods. Learn about the history of dried plums via the 3-D theater and panel exhibitions. You can even make your own plum juice. About 20 to 40 minutes are required, and single participants are allowed.

    その名の通り、梅干に関連した施設です。工場見学〜展示〜のエリアを抜けてあらわれるおみやげコーナーには、さまざまな種類の梅干しが!試食ができるのがよいですね(ほぼほぼ全部梅干し!笑)。

This soy sauce maker is approximately ten minutes on foot from JR Yuasa Station. The establishment is recognizable by its Kinzanji-miso sign. You can tour the brewery under a worker's guidance and get up close to cedar barrels that have been in use for over 100 years. They provide visitors experiences not available at other soy sauce breweries, like the chance to stir the contents of these old barrels, helping the fermentation process along. They also sell merchandise including specialty items like soy sauce made just for the specific food, yuzu-ponzu sauce, and their top prize winning Kiippon Kuromame Shoyu of Yuasa Soy Sauce. Their cafe serves coffee and soy sauce soft serve ice cream.

"This sake brewery facing Wakaura Bay is approximately two minutes by car from the Hanwa Expressway Kainan Interchange. They started in 1949 making ko-type shochu distilled spirits and released their Fujishiro shochu. They went on to win first place for their Kinokuniya Bunzaemon junmai sake at the 2011 International Wine Challenge, the largest of its kind worldwide. While maintaining traditions of ""quality first"" and ""creative ingenuity,"" today they also work on research and development of health food and cosmetics made from Wakyama Prefecture specialty products like plum extract. They regularly hold brewery tours where you can view the production process of sake, plum wine, and more."
