"You can reach this museum by taking the Ryujin Bus bound for Hongu Taisha-Mae and getting off at the Nakahechi Bijutsukan stop. It mainly displays the work of two painters from Wakayama Prefecture's Tanabe City: Banka Nonagase, who formed Hakuensha and contributed greatly to the local arts, and Ryoun Watase, the Deputy Administrative Director and juror at Nihon Nangain who went on to receive the Wakayama Prefecture Distinguished Cultural Service Prize. The museum itself was the first work of the internationally active architectural team “Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa / SANAA."""
