- This public pool complex is located a 20-minute walk from Hashimoto Station on the JR Wakayama Line and the Nankai Koya Line or about five-minute drive from Hashimoto Interchange on the Keinawa Expressway via National Route 371. It is a part of the naturally-rich Hashimoto Municipal Sports Park, which is surrounded by mountains and forests. The facility is equipped with three types of pools: an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a 162 meter-long lazy river, and a children's pool featuring a frog water slide and a jungle-inspired simulated stone bridge complete with waterfalls. The lazy river is the most popular of the three pools. Each of the pools is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.

旅行で、橋本に行ったときに、近くを通りました。市民向けのプールですが、観光地ではないので、わざわざ行く必要もないかなと。

Wakayama Areas
Wakayama prefecture unites pilgrims, food lovers, and culture buffs in a tranquil corner of Japan at the base of the Kii Peninsula. The setting for many a Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail, Wakayama invites those in search of spirituality from one side of the prefecture to the other, from the 100-plus Buddhist temples of the sacred Mount Koya in the west to the inspiring temples of the Kumano Sanzan set among breathtaking nature in the east. Once the grueling hike is complete, make a beeline for Wakayama city to savor some of the country’s most delicious ramen noodles.
