    This rest stop is located along the Koya-Ryujin Skyline at an altitude of 1040 meters. The rest stop features a garden planted with more than 3,500 hydrangeas and a photogenic background of coniferous trees and mountain ranges. The best time to view the hydrangeas is from mid-July to early August, which is later than in the lowlands. The rest stop has much to offer in terms of seasonal scenery including the one thousand rhododendrons that bloom in the spring and the red fall foliage. Fall visitors can also see one of the Top 100 Sunsets of Wakayama Prefecture. The rest stop's restaurant serves characteristic local dishes such as seasonal wild plants, amago-meshi (rice cooked with red-spotted masu trout), and matsutake mushroom dishes, a seasonal exclusive. The rest stop also sells local specialties such as Japanese umbrella-pine and yakiyogomi (toasted mugwort dumplings).

    A shopping center located in front of Ichinohashimae at the entrance to the Oku-no-In temple. Here you can buy famous local specialty products and souvenirs from the Mt. The restaurant inside serves traditional Japanese Buddhist vegetarian cuisine, a famous aspect of the culture of the area around Mt. Koya. The restaurant uses fresh, seasonal vegetables and through this diner can experience the unique seasonal delights of the area. In addition, the facility provides a wide array of services for tourists, including information on sightseeing destinations and making lodging reservations, making it the perfect place to base one’s exploration of the Mt. Koya area.

    印南サービスエリアにある飲食スペースで、和歌山ラーメンのほかうどんにそばと麺類が豊富です。食券制で、私は海老天・揚げ・肉がのったうどんを食べましたが、お出汁が美味しかったです。熊野観光の後、大阪方面へ帰る際には小腹を満たすために立ち寄るのもいいと思います。
