"This shop features authentic gelato made by farmers who “want to help more people experience the happiness of eating immersed in nature."" With its characteristic white walls, they offer gelato made with seasonal fruit and vegetables they grow themselves. The produce of the season's rich fragrance and juiciness comes through in a delightfully sweet and sour fullness. They also sell vegetables from their farm used in the gelato at their Petit Marche. People sometimes choose the gelato as a local Kimino Town reward for participating in Japan's “Hometown Tax Donation ""system."

A Japanese sweet shop located in the Koyasan area in Koya Town, Ito County, Wakayama Prefecture. The shop is famous for its grilled rice cakes, a favorite treat for visitors to Koyasan to eat, as well as the Miroku-ishi, a renowned sweet named after the stone of the same name found on the grounds of the Okunoin Temple. The shop’s hijiri yokan jelly is made according to an ancient treasured written recipe; this historic culinary gem was once an essential part of local Buddhist vegetarian cuisine. The shop’s display shelves are also filled with a variety of other sweets popular among visitors to the area, including monaka bean jam filled wafers and senbei rice crackers branded with the local mascot character Koya-kun.

You can choose between several sweets; the price is correct (you spend almost 110/150 yen each one) and there is a beautiful space where you can eat them. NB:you can freely drink water, hot tea or...

A shaved ice specialty shop located in Shingu, Shingu City, Wakayama Prefecture which is famous not just among local children but also fans around the country. Old-fashioned in appearance with tables and chairs set up out front, an air of the bygone Showa era emanates from the shop. The shop uses water from a pure Wakayama stream, selected as one of the 100 most famous in Japan in the Heisei period, which is slowly frozen over several days to create ice equal to any natural ice; this is then thinly shaved to create a delicate, icy treat. The most popular item on the menu is the matcha milk kintoki, made with matcha green tea and sweet adzuki beans; visitors love the heaping helping of syrup and the light sweetness of the beans.

wonderful ice shop.. the texture is so heavenly that it just melts in your mouth.. you hardly felt the ice! we had yuzu and matcha powder red bean.. one of my friend even complain we ate his portion!

This bakery on the Oishi-kogen Highland is only open on Saturdays and Sundays. Housed in a log cabin, there's a great view of the surrounding woodland from the terrace seating. It's a lovely way to enjoy the charms of nature with birdsong and the cool breeze passing through the valley. All of their products are additive-free. Their mountain shaped bread and their bacon knot filled with cream cheese and mustard get good reviews. They also serve juice and light fare like pizza and spaghetti, as well as items only available for a limited time.

This historic Japanese sweet shop was founded in Osaka in 1624. It's approximately five minutes on foot from Daimonzaka's Married Cedars on the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. In the quest for the best water for making their sweets, they opened this store in Katsuura to use spring water from Mt. Nachi. Visitors can observe their facility's crafting process with its dedication to flavor and safety. They use Okinawa made sugar for an array of items like ice cream, karinto manju treats, and their original kuro-ame sweets that are meant to be reminiscent of Kishu binchotan charcoal. Meals that feature local marine produce like their raw tuna-topped rice bowls are available too.

This natural foods store is located in front of Kishi Station on the Wakayama Electric Railway Kishigawa Line. It offers additive-free foods made with organic fruits and vegetables grown in the rich natural environment of Wakayama, healthy handmade bento boxes, and other handcrafted products. We especially recommend their strawberry confiture, a jam which preserves the rich flavor and refined sweetness and fragrance of Marihime strawberries, an original cultivar of Wakayama. The shop's attached cafe, which offers a selection of daily lunches, mini desserts, natural beverages, and other items, is a great place to relax while waiting for a train.

    Wakayama Hashimoto-shi Sudacho Kamihyogo 280-1
"This shop offering natural sweets made with choice ingredients is located next to the Hashimoto-higashi Interchange on the Keinawa Expressway. The shop, which has a basic concept of ""easy on the body,"" makes its sweets with Suzuran eggs, a heritage egg of Hashimoto, Yotsuba butter, rock candy, and an original wheat blend. The shop forgoes the use of oxygen absorbers in its packaging to assure that the flavor of its teru, galletes, and other baked sweets is not adversely affected. We especially recommend their line of Kouya sweets, which includes financier cakes made with plenty of persimmon, mandarin orange, and plum, the three main specialties of Kishu."
