    This multipurpose hall is located in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture. Able to accommodate up to 8,500 people, it is used for a variety of sports and recreation events, concerts, exhibitions, and more. The building is modeled after a whale and can even shoot a jet of water into the air just like a whale. Appropriate to a prefecture known for its large quantities of wood, the ceiling, seat backboards, floor, and other fixtures make use of an abundance of wood. The facility also hosts a variety of classes and serves as a space for local residents to relax and improve their health through activities such as children's ballet, basketball, and tennis.

    県立図書館(紀南分館)やプラネタリウムもあるかなり規模の大きな教育施設といったところだろうか。 場所は田辺市と白浜町との間の丘の上で、病院などの医療施設やグラウンドの奥で、田辺市立美術館も近所にある。 温泉やアドベンチャーワールドや水族館の次を探すならいいかもしれない。 路線バスは医療センター前バス停までしかないらしいが広い駐車場はある。JR白浜駅からタクシーなら10分とある。車なら阪和自動車道...
