- An Italian restaurant located a four minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station which serves dishes lovingly prepared from select Nara ingredients including traditional Yamato vegetables, Yamato pork, and Yamato beef. In spite of Nara’s lack of access to the ocean, the restaurant is also renowned for its fresh seafood shipped direct from Tosashimizu. The restaurant has a stylish interior and relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy for both couples an groups to enjoy themselves. In addition to a la carte dishes such as chewy oven-baked pizza and authentic pastas, the restaurant also offers a full menu of reasonably-priced lunch choices.

Good pasta and pizza, service was very good on a busy night. We had no problems communicating to them in English. They coped with allergies very well. We enjoyed our meal!

- This is an Italian restaurant in the Imamikado-cho Shopping Street in Imamikado-cho, Nara Prefecture. The restaurant serves Italian cuisine made from home grown vegetables, Yamato beef and fresh fish that have been caught by the owner. The acqua pazza made with seasonal fish and home-grown vegetables is one of the popular dishes.

We at pork chops and chicken cooked in a Japanese style. With 2 beers the cost was about 45 usd. Not cheap, but in line with Japanese food in Nara. It was a good straighforward meal.

イオンモールアルルでディナーすることになり、妻とカプリチョーザを訪れました。 いつも行列している印象がありましたが、この日(土曜日の夜9時前)は待つことなく座れました。好きなパスタ1品とピザ1品、サラダバー、スープバー、ドリンクバーがついて、2人で3300円(税抜)でした。単品とサラダを頼んだら、3000円近くになりそうだったので、お得なセットだと思います。 料理は美味しくて、満足でした。

チェーン店のカプリチョーザです。一人前の量がかなり多いです。がっつり食べたい時はいいですが、パスタだけだとやや飽きてきます。

Delicious crust from their ultra hot pizza oven - perfect amount of toppings and carefully created pizzas. We couldn’t stop eating slices they were SO hot and delicious The gelato was excellent too...

Nara Areas
With a reputation almost as stellar as that of Kyoto, Nara is a must-visit for those searching for the remains of "traditional Japan." The largely green Nara city holds the majority of the prefecture’s treasures, such as the iconic Todai-ji Temple, in which a 15-meter tall Great Buddha sits, and Nara Park, where deer flock to befriend passersby. While mountains are by no means hard to come by in this area, for hiking with a reward, head to the Kii Mountains’ Yoshino district in spring, when the hillsides put on an impressive display of white and pink cherry blossoms.
