- This beach is located approximately a five-minute drive from the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway's Seidan-Mihara Interchange. The largest beach in Awaji, it was selected as Japan's 100 Best Sunsets, Top 88 Japanese Beaches, Japan's 100 Most Beautiful Beaches and Best Beach 100 (comfortable beaches). It is known as the best white sand and blue pine in Setouchi, with tens of thousands of pine trees planted on about 2.5 kilometers of sandy beach stretching north to south. Each year it is crowded with beachgoers and campers because it is famous for its beautiful sunset over the Harima Pass.

国の指定名勝「慶野松原」が広がる砂浜 早朝に散策 根上がりの松まで500歩とあったので行ってみました それほど根っこが上がっているわけではなくちょっと迫力不足でした それでも白砂青松は綺麗でした

- "A swimming beach located a 15-minute drive from the Tsuna-Ichinomiya interchange on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway. Under the theme of ""sound and light,"" a variety of measures have been taken to make the beach a fun and comfortable destination for everyone. A shallow beach, it boasts some of the cleanest waters in the country. The beach's waves are gentle and it is frequented particularly by families and groups of women. Various measures have also been taken with the physically challenged persons in mind, and the beach has showers, toilets, and changing rooms. During the swimming season from mid-July to late August, clubhouses operate on the beach as well. Fireworks, camping, and barbecuing are prohibited on the beach."

- A swimming beach located a five-minute drive from the Higashiura interchange on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway. Commanding a view of Osaka Bay, the beach has been selected for inclusion in a list of Best Beach 100 of Japan due to the high clarity of its waters. Beachgoers can watch the planes taking off from and landing at Kansai International Airport and Kobe Airport and, on clear days, see mirages of islands in the Kii Channel. The beach has a parking area, changing rooms, showers, and coin lockers. The Higashiura Terminal Park roadside station is located nearby.

- Located about 5 minutes by car from the Hokudan IC of the Kobe-Awaji Naruto Expressway, this beach is next to the south of Murozu Fishing Port. 200 m long, fine-grained sandy beach and shallow waters make swimming safe and enjoyable even for children. Located on the west side of Awaji Island, it is a popular date spot with beautiful sunsets.

- A quiet beach with shallow artificial bay near Ozaki Fishing Port and a pleasant breeze blowing in from the Harimanada Sea. 150m long, it is a small beach with almost no waves and is popular with families because small children can play safely. The beach is open from mid-July to late August.

- A 10-minute drive north from the Hokudan Interchange on the Kobe-Awaji Naruto Expressway, this beach is located along the Sunset Line overlooking the Akashi Kaikyo Straits and is open from mid-July to late August. The sunset over the Seto Inland Sea is also beautiful, and nearby is Hokudan Earthquake Memorial Park, where the Nojima Fault, designated as a national natural monument, has been preserved as is, and the 140-m-long fault can be seen.

- Located about 15 minutes from the Awajishima Minami IC on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway via Prefectural Route 25, this cozy and secluded beach on the west coast of Awaji Island is popular with local visitors and is not very crowded, so you can enjoy swimming in a quiet environment. In summer, you can enjoy throwing a kiss at the beach, and nearby is Maruyama Marine Fishing Park and Uosaikan, which sells fresh seafood.

Hyogo Areas
Hyogo prefecture stretches from the north coast to the south coast on the western end of the popular Kansai region, encompassing verdant mountains, urban beaches, and fantastic historical sights. The prefecture’s main attractions lie along the south coast at Kobe, the prefectural capital, a pretty harbor city best known for its production of the renowned Kobe beef, and Himeji, the home of Himeji Castle, one of the country’s most beautifully preserved feudal castles, perched magically atop a hill.
