    This art museum is on the grounds of Himeji Park in Honmachi, Himeji City. It's housed in a red brick building that was constructed as an army warehouse during the Meiji period. Its collection consists of about 3,700 works from artists with ties to the region, as well as modern art from Japan and abroad. Their permanent exhibit in their Kunitomi Keizo Collection Room features Modern French paintings by Corot, Pizarro, Monet, Rouault, Matisse, and Utrillo. They also have a collection gallery, a sculpture garden, and they hold special and public exhibitions.

    This museum houses the artworks of Tadanori Yokoo, an artist from Nishiwaki City who maintains an innovative and unique world view. The facility was designed in 1984 with the image of a three-car train on a platform, and it features his artworks and other contemporary artists' exhibitions. Designed by world-renowned architect Arata Isozaki, the unique building has an arched roof supported by columns, reminiscent of a Greek temple, and a pyramid-shaped meditation room. In front of the entrance, visitors can see a ceramic mural that is an enlarged version of Yokoo's original painting.

    三木城二の丸跡に在る小さな美術館（無料で入れました）です。お隣にはみき歴史資料館も有り、三木市の文化施設エリアといったところに有ります。今回は台湾の画家の作品が展示されていました。歴史、美術、ちょっと知識が高まったかなという一日でした。
