This department store is about three minutes on foot from JR Motomachi Station and Hanshin Motomachi Station. It was built on a former settlement so has been left with a retro look, and is laid out with surrounding corridors and gas lights reminiscent of the street corners of Europe. About 70 boutiques have also developed in the Former Foreign Settlement around the main department store building and you can do your shopping while enjoying the cityscape. There is also an abundant assortment of shops and products in the main building. In addition, there is a baby restaurant, an area where children can play, and a day nursery room, so even families coming with children can do their shopping with ease.

"This commercial facility is located in the 1 Chome Sannomiya-cho, Chuo-ku, Kobe City. There are 71 shops mostly focusing on fashion that can be found spread over its five floors. The restaurant floor ""Marui Marche"" that opened in April 2018 has specialty shops such as those for tarts, gelato, nuts and roasted green tea sweets."

Hyogo Areas

around-area-map

Hyogo prefecture stretches from the north coast to the south coast on the western end of the popular Kansai region, encompassing verdant mountains, urban beaches, and fantastic historical sights. The prefecture’s main attractions lie along the south coast at Kobe, the prefectural capital, a pretty harbor city best known for its production of the renowned Kobe beef, and Himeji, the home of Himeji Castle, one of the country’s most beautifully preserved feudal castles, perched magically atop a hill.
