    A chocolate factory and museum operated by the famous confectionary company Glico located a one-minute walk from the Takatsukadai 1-Chome bus stop. The entrance is a giant Pocky stick and inside visitors can peer through windows and watch snacks like Pocky and Pretz being made. The facility also offers visitors the chance to make Bisco by hand. The factory shop sells exclusive and new products perfect for souvenirs and gifts. Entry requires a reservation made by phone or over the Internet; reservations are accepted up to four months in advance.

    This rural park with hands-on workshops is in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. You can reach it by taking the Shinki Green Bus from Ikuno Station on the JR Bantan Line and getting off at the Yodel Forest stop. The park has lots of seasonal plants like tulips, cosmos flowers, and sage, as well as animals you can get up close to including alpacas, red kangaroos, snowy owls, and red-and-green macaws. They also have lots of organized activities like pizza and rice flour chiffon making classes, craft workshops where you make plastic accessories and decorate ceramics, horseback riding programs, and more.

    Take a fishing boat from this port on Sakoshi Bay to go fishing at the best fishing spot or experience teichi-ami fixed net fishing. Their fishing programs also give you the chance to eat your catch with wappa-jiru soup and hama-meshi rice together with your fellow passengers. The season runs between April and October. From November to March they offer all-you-can-eat oysters and the event where visitors can experience oyster shucking. In January and February, you can purchase a whole string of oysters farmed from their oyster rafts (must order in advance). You can take them with you or rent a space to charcoal-grill them on the spot.

    A large culture and recreation facility located a 10-minute drive from the Sanda-nishi interchange on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway where visitors can see, experience, and enjoy Tamba ware, one of Japan's renowned six forms of ancient pottery. Tamba ware is characterized by its simple, un-affectated design and is highly utilitarian, making Tamba ware tableware excellent for everyday use. Some 70 superb examples of ancient Tamba ware created between the distant Kamakura period and the Edo period are displayed in the park's Traditional Learning Hall, as well as new pieces and traditional crafts by modern artisans. The park conducts clay crafting and pottery painting classes, as well. In addition, a wide variety of pottery is on display and offered for sale in the Kamamoto-Yokocho ceramics shop.

    A large resort facility located seven minutes drive from the Tannan Sasayamaguchi interchange on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway. The facility was originally built to serve as a rest home for a labor union, but today it is open to the general public. Facilities include a campground, adventure park with two 19 station courses, tennis courts, and an outdoor pool, and visitors can also enjoy cycling and mountain climbing in the area. The facility offers a variety of seasonal events, such as firefly watching and experiencing rural life activities. Visitors can also take in area culture through things like Tamba ware pottery classes.

    アスレチックのあるリゾート施設です。湖畔のレイクプラザでぼたん鍋をいただきました。親睦旅行だったので広間を利用しましたが 清潔で眺めも良く、上ロース猪肉はとろけるような舌触りで大満足でした。

    香美町の山里にある、木の殿堂。安藤忠雄設計の建築であり、建物見学に行きました。木材の外観に、内部の柱なども木でできていて、スケールの大きい建築。内部の展示も充実しています。外の回廊ぞいには高木も植えられていて、楽しめます。
