"This temple is located in the Aida area of Tanto-cho, Toyooka City. The premises are known as a famous spot to see colorful autumn leaves, and you can see large white enkianthus that are over 100 years old painted in brilliant colors and lit up from around mid-November. In addition, the adjacent ""Tajima Ankokuji Park"" is a popular spot for seeing Japanese stewartia."

    家内の好きなドウダンツツジを見に行きました。お寺自体は小さく、1本の大きなドウダンツツジ以外には見るものはありません。家内は念願が叶ったと言って喜んでいましたが、私には今一つでした。

"Located approximately five minutes from the Chugoku Expressway's Yamazaki Interchange, you can see maple trees from around the world at this park. In addition to 3,000 Japanese maples, there are also 400 maple trees from other countries, like China and Canada. At the height of fall, the entire mountain is colored in a beautiful blaze of red, truly living up to its name ""Momijiyama,"" which refers to the lovely autumn foliage. Visitors are sure to enjoy taking a carefree stroll on the walking path, where maple trees stretch out from either side to form a tunnel full of fall colors. With Benten Pond nearby, it is a place for residents to relax. The Mt. Momiji Maple Tree Festival is held at the end of November, and trees are lit up at night during this time for viewing."

Hyogo Areas

around-area-map

Hyogo prefecture stretches from the north coast to the south coast on the western end of the popular Kansai region, encompassing verdant mountains, urban beaches, and fantastic historical sights. The prefecture’s main attractions lie along the south coast at Kobe, the prefectural capital, a pretty harbor city best known for its production of the renowned Kobe beef, and Himeji, the home of Himeji Castle, one of the country’s most beautifully preserved feudal castles, perched magically atop a hill.
