    Hyogo Kobe-shi Chuo-ku Sakaemachi Dori 4-3-12
A bakery right near Minato Motomachi Station. Look for the green awning with the small crescent moon. They sell a variety of baked goods, especially Danish pastries and croissants. Their small loaves of hearty Pain de Mie are so soft and moist they're nearly addictive. Walnuts add a nice texture to their Ann Beurre; the rich aroma of fermented butter and refreshingly smooth sweet bean paste leaves a lasting impression.

"A long-standing bakery founded in 1946. Since then they've been making tasty bread that they hope ""becomes a long-term part of people's lives."" The talented second-generation proprietor is the first Kobe baker to be certified a Kobe Master by the city. To maintain the flavor of the ingredients, they do everything at the shop from scratch, including kneading and fermenting the dough and baking the bread. Their ""Hard Yamashoku"" loaf with its crispy yet chewy texture has won the Prime Minister's Award at the National Confectionery Exposition."

    元町駅近で便利です。ただ他のパン屋と別に変わりはなく神戸らしさなどがあるわけではありません。普段使い用な印象です。

A bakery located just outside the south exit of Hankyu Okamoto Station. They've been making their specialty brick oven bread since their founding in 1932. The shop is like an old-fashioned Japanese house. Packed with hand-made items, you may feel a sense of nostalgia even if it's your first time visiting. Other popular items include their An-Doughnuts made with the same dough as their white bread and filled with coarse red bean jam and curry buns made with a roux from an Indian restaurant.
