Osaka Met. Suitashi Senri Banpaku Park 1-1 In the Banpaku Park
This is a 70-meter tall work of art created by artist Taro Okamoto and is a symbol of the Japan Expo held in 1970 in Osaka’s Suita City. Even now it still remains in the Expo Commemoration Park which is a cultural park created on the site of the exposition grounds and serves as a popular photo spot. With a unique design that is modeled after a crow, the tower has three faces which represent the future, present and past. The inside is hollow and has a giant monument called the Tree of Life. Currently visitors are not permitted to tour the inside of the tower due to reconstruction work, but it is scheduled to reopen in March of 2018.

    Osaka Met. Toyonogun Nosecho Nomainaji
Located in the Nosecho district of Osaka’s Toyono-gun, the large Keyaki (Japanese zelkova tree) of Noma is a national natural monument and there is a museum nearby that mainly preserves and displays materials relating to it. The large keyaki with a height of approximately 27 meters and trunk girth of approximately 13 meters said to be about 1,000 years old is one of Japan’s foremost giant trees. The largest branch is approximately 39 meters by approximately 36 meters, and the tree is loved as a symbol of Nose’s abundance nature. From late April to July when the new leaves are out, wild brown hawk owls can be seen sitting in the branches. Entrance to the museum is free.

While Osaka prefecture is the country's second smallest prefecture, its capital, Osaka City, is the country’s third-largest and arguably one of the most popular in the Kansai region thanks to its vibrant nightlife, the Osaka people’s openness, and its much-loved cuisine, which has earned it the nickname "the nation’s kitchen."
