    Amidaike DAIKOKU is the main store of a well-known and long-established cake maker famous for the Osaka specialty okoshi (rice cake), located in Kitahorie, Nishi Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Okoshi first appeared in the second year of Bunka in the Edo period (1805) when the first generation started using surplus rice to make the rice cakes. The store sells a wide variety of products including their characteristically hard iwa-okoshi and Osaka-okoshi, as well as new Western-style rice cakes. The cakes are naturally great souvenirs to take home from Osaka and also serve well as presents.

    This is a specialist Western style confectionery shop with an adjoining cafe space which is located approximately five minutes away from Osaka Municipal Subway, Nishiohashi Station. The shop has a chic exterior glass frontage and a relaxing atmosphere. The shop’s bright interior which is filled with natural light has highly multicolored reasonably priced cakes and baked sweets lined up. In regard to the baked sweets, there are also individually named items such as the “akan potato” (lit. useless potato) and the “Oshiteruya” (lit. pushing). In addition to the western style confectioneries in the cafe space, you can also taste certain cafe limited dessert dishes.

    This is the official shop of NMB48 who bases their activities in Osaka, located adjacent to Namba Grand Kagetsu. It has a landmark leopard skin print signboard. You can purchase such items as official goods, real photographs and limited promotion debut goods. There are also such as limited products which are only available in the shop and costume displays for members in disguise. In addition, there are also the signatures in the store of NMB members who have visited the store, so you can also enjoy searching through them while you are shopping. As the NMB48 theater is also located one minute away by foot, a lot of fans also visit before or after a performance.

    With bread of German origin, this is the bakery & cafe of the popular bread store “CASCADE” which has continued to be loved in Kobe since it was established in 1961. It is located in the first-floor basement of “Namba Marui” department store in Namba, Chuo Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. They sell about 440 of their signature products a day, “Malt Walnut Bread” and their exquisite irresistibly salty, “Salted Butter Pan”. In addition to selling about 75 kinds of bread, they also have an abundant selection of sandwiches and drinks. It is possible to eat in at the adjoining cafe.

    This is a long-established store founded in 1848 selling kelp products in the “Ebisubashi-Suji Shopping Street” in Chuo Ward, Osaka City. The store uses the finest kelp from places such as Osatsube-hama in Hokkaido. The salted kelp is made using an old-fashioned method and boiling thoroughly and has long been popular as a product where traditional techniques create a true taste. Many of the products sold are pleasing not only for home use but also as gifts, such as “shiofuki” which received an award from the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and “matsutake mushroom kelp” using a lavish amount of matsutake mushrooms.

    This candy shop directly operated by Amidaike Daikoku boasts an over 200-year history since its founding during the Edo period (1603–1868). Various sweets from traditional Japanese to Western sweets are available, such as “okoshi” (candied millet puffs), popular as a classic Osaka souvenir, Osaka Chiyoko (crunch chocolate) and “melange chocolat,” a Western-style “okoshi.”

    なんばウォ－ク内にあるおこし専門店、あみだ池大黒。いろいろな種類のおこしがあり、たまに利用しています。一口サイズのおこしは食べやすいです。

The pudding, made with eggs, milk and sugar that have been especially chosen by the owner, are bite-sized and said to be unforgettably delicious, which has been affirmed by many media postings. Its defining feature is the lack of caramel with their pudding.

    カフェ併設店のようでしたが、持ち帰りに便利な商品が並んでいました。今回はバラマキ用にも便利なクッキーを頂戴したのですが、個別包装は当然ながら、色々な種類が包装の外からでも確認出来、好みの物を手に取る事が出来ました。 因みにデザイン上の事でしょうが[KI3ZI]と記されていました。
