A Western confectionary shop located in Dojimahama 2-Chome, Kita Ward, Osaka City. The store sells signature Dojima Rolls, roll cakes consisting of an original recipe whipped cream which harnesses the flavor and fragrance of raw cream from Hokkaido, wrapped in a moist cake dough. The shop also sells fresh sweets like cakes and baked sweets such as baked cheese cakes and the Dojima Castella, an Osaka exclusive.

I saw this recommended by 1 of the TV show. After I tried it myself, I just find it nothing special and I dont think I would go again. I think the company should make sure they have the same quality...

Momotarou (LUCUA Osaka Branch) is an Okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake) restaurant located on the 10th floor of the Lucua building; it serves Osaka-style Okonomiyaki which have a thick base, and which contain steaming-hot Danshaku Imo (Baron Potatoes). One of the most popular items on the menu is the potato, beef tendon and green spring onion okonomiyaki, which as the name suggests contains potatoes, boiled beef tendons and deliciously-scented green spring onions. The modanyaki, made with yakisoba (fried noodles) that are fried in beer is also very popular.

We didnt have long to wait to get a table and staff were friendly and efficient in taking our order. Great fun to cook our Soba and Okonomiyaki on the grill plate at the table. Both were delicious...

This udon restaurant is located in Sonezaki Shinchi of Kita Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. It is based on the concept of “high-quality udon” and has earned popularity for its secret Kansai soup stock recipe and firm noodles prepared individually for each order. In addition to standards such as “kitsune no oudon” (udon with deep-fried tofu), there are also popular original creations such as the pasta-like “mentaiko no oudon” (udon with spicy cod roe). For large gatherings, they offer well-received udon banquet dishes and udon hot pot courses.

I am a big Udon fan and cant pass an opportunity on being able to have a bowl of creative udon here in Japan without breaking the bank. I decided to be adventurous and tried the carbonara soup...

A kushikatsu deep fried breaded skewer restaurant located in Osaka’s Kitashinchi area, a neighborhood crowded with first class and renowned restaurants. This famous shop has even been awarded a Michelin star. The restaurant focuses on four areas: ingredients, oil, temperature, and spirit, serving true culinary gems woven together from seasonal ingredients ordinarily reserved for the highest classes of cuisine woven together by the hands of a master. Here diners can enjoy kushikatsu that are a little different from the usual downtown, downhome treat served in Osaka, such as Hungarian foie gras and A5 rank wagyu beef chateaubriand. The restaurant elegantly decorated and, in addition to typical counter seating, there are also semi-private booth tables. The closest station is Kitashinchi Station.
