Located on the second floor basement of the Nikko Shoken Building, the coffee shop can be directly accessed from exit number seven of Higashi Umeda Station on the Tanimachi Subway Line. This is a coffee shop of long standing which was established in 1973. The shop’s interior has a relaxing atmosphere, where you can spend a moment of bliss. The good quality home roasted coffee which they roast and the gently grilled pancakes are popular in this coffee shop, and are often introduced on television and in magazines. From Monday to Saturday, it is open from seven o’ clock and one can also go for a set breakfast. There is a full lunch menu which includes sandwiches, omelets filled with ketchup-seasoned fried rice and pasta. The coffee shop opens at eight o’clock on Sundays.

The shop is directly managed by a wholesaler, Kobe Meat Packer. which provides Kobe beef and domestic Japanese black beef. Unlike most packed lunch shops, which only sell cooked lunches, this store has the cuts of meat lined up in their showcase for you to see. After choosing your cut of meat it will be cooked right there in front of you before being packed into the lunch. You can also try the luxury station lunches which only differ by one digit.

Beef sashimi set 850 yen is a must to try. 3 types of beef with different kind of cooking style. Will come back for sure.

Negiyaki Yamamoto is a restaurant serving negiyaki (Okonomiyaki savory pancake with green onions), one of Osaka’s lesser-known traditional fried foods, and teppanyaki. As Negiyaki Yamamoto is located inside the concourse of Shin-Osaka Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Station, it is the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat while traveling. For the benefit of customers who may be in a rush, some of the fried foods are pre-cooked, and then finished off just before serving. The Suji-Negi, which includes plenty of spring onions with slow-boiled beef tendons and konjac, is especially popular.
