Osaka Sakai-shi Sakai-ku Daisennakamachi Daisen Park
A Japanese garden located inside Daisen Park in Daisen Naka-machi, Sakai Ward, Sakai City. The park was opened in 1989 to commemorate the formation of Sakai City. A traditional circular garden built around a central pond with an artificial hill and forest, the garden's design was inspired by Sakai, a place which long flourished as a trading point with China; and famous scenic sights in China. Visitors can rent traditional Japanese tatami mat rooms in the garden for events, etc.; the garden also serves matcha powdered green tea and Japanese confections.

    Osaka Osakashi Chuou-ku Osakajou 2
This park lies outside Osaka Castle's Otemon Gate, and is a popular place for cherry blossom viewing. 300 cherry trees (mainly Yoshino cherry trees) are planted, and every spring tourists gather here to see the cherry blossoms. Even outside of the cherry blossom season, the view of the castle tower and stone walls through the trees is impressive, and many people visit to take photos of it. Also contained within the park are many scenic spots, including 13 Important Cultural Properties, such as the Senganyagura and the Enshogura. The park is said to the place where the residence of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's legal wife, Kitano Mandokoro, once stood.

    Osaka Osakashi Tennouji-ku Chausuyamachou 1-108
A classic Japanese garden with tress and ponds in Tennoji Park in Osaka. The Sumitomo family donated the garden to the city in 1926. It was designed by Ogawa Jihei VII, who is said to have established modern garden landscaping, and who also designed the Heian Jingu Shrine gardens and Maruyama Park in Kyoto. The center of the park has a large pond, with artificial hills, stepping stones, and bridges that allow you to feel the movement of the water. The tea house can be used for tea ceremonies, poetry readings, and commemorative photoshoots.

    Osaka Suitashi Senribampakukouen
This is a Japanese garden within the “Expo’70 Commemorative Park” in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture. It is a famous Japanese garden of the Showa period built as a government exhibition facility at the “Japan World Exposition” held in 1970. In the long and narrow area approximately 260,000 square meters from west to east, a flow of water from the west to the east has been created, expressing the transition of time. There are four gardens representing from the Heian period to medieval times, early-modern times and modern themes, enabling you to enjoy the scenery of the style from each era at once. Seasonal flowers such as peony and cherry blossoms, azaleas and crape myrtle are also beautiful, and about 10,000 irises are in flower from early to mid-June.
