Osaka Minamikawachi-gun Taishicho Kasuga 443

A mandarin orange farm located in Kasuga, Taishi Town, Minamikawachi County, Osaka Prefecture. The farm grows 10 thousand mandarin orange trees on the side of a hill, and from October through November, visitors can go mandarin orange picking, dig up sweet potatoes, and enjoy barbecuing and cooking sukiyaki while taking in the area's spectacular view. There is a rest house halfway up the hill and a square at the top; facilities also include a fun obstacle course, maze, and shop.

会社のレクリエーションで、行きました。以前からちょくちょく行きますが、駐車場も広くなり、上ノ太子駅から送迎バスもあり、便利です。バーベキューを利用しましたが、お肉もごはんも美味しかったですごちそうさまでしたただ、みかん山まで登るのが高齢の方には辛いかな。電動カートみたいな乗り物を有料でもいいから新設してほしい。職場のみんなと、のんびり過ごせました。

Osaka Sakaishi Minami-ku Bessho 1457

Take the Nankai bus to Yokoyama High School from the Nankai Koya Line's Toga-Mikita Station. The park is approximately 700 meters walk from the Bessho Minami bus stop. The park covers an area about three times the size of the Koshien Stadium, and visitors to the park can enjoy harvesting various fruits and vegetables depending on the season, such as strawberries, oranges, pears, grapes and sweet potatoes. The fruits and vegetables are grown using organic fertilizer, with as little pesticide as possible. The park is also home to a famous cafe, Cave Cafe Kagashi, which makes use of a war-time cave that was used by the army to store medicines. Direct buses are available on Sundays and national holidays from September to November.

Osaka Tondabayashi-shi Fushimido 1003

A mandarin orange farm located in Fushimido, Tondabayashi City. From October through early December, visitors can enjoy mandarin orange picking, chestnut gathering, and digging up sweet potatoes. The farm also offers barbecuing from March to December (the farm has a reservation only barbecue and mandarin orange picking plan from October to December). Other farm highlights include a free playground with an obstacle course, crayfish fishing, a mini fishing pond, a putting golf course, and an airsoft gun range.

車で行くと園内入口から駐車場までの道の狭さに驚くかもしれません。退避もほぼできないので(笑) 園内では、BBQスペースが用意されており、お手軽にBBQが楽しめ、他にも面白卓球ができたり、釣りができたり、アスレチックもあるので家族連れにはぴったり！また、時期によって味覚狩りができ、秋に行ったときにはミカン狩りや芋ほりができました！園内のスタッフさんもフレンドリーでいい場所です。

A facility where you can pick shiitake mushrooms located inside the Takatsuki Forest Center situated along Prefectural Route 6 in Matodani Tano, Takatsuki City. The facility grows its mushrooms on unprocessed logs without the use of agricultural chemicals or chemical fertilizers, and visitors can enjoy picking shiitake mushrooms here year round without a reservation and without having to pay any entry fee (customers purchase the mushrooms they have picked based on weight). You can also enjoy the mushrooms you have just picked in the adjoining barbecue restaurant.

A small boat seating up to 10 people offering tour cruises of the rivers of Osaka, a city filled with rivers. The ship travels a popular course visiting famous Osaka areas, such as the historically important buildings around Nakanoshima and Osaka Castle as well as the Dotonbori commercial district locally called the Minami area. The boat passes under various bridges, sluice gates, and overhead highways, giving passengers the chance to view Osaka from a different perspective than the usual. The ship’s morning cruises which come with a breakfast of fresh-picked vegetables are quite popular. The closest station to the Hachikenyahama docks where the boat leaves from is Temmabashi Station.

This is a popular cruise that takes you through the Water Capital of Osaka, as you enjoy the scenery from Osaka Castle to Dotonbori. The cruise takes approximately 50 minutes one way and travels through Higashi Yokobori River with its large scale sluice gate from “Osaka Castle Port,” and then enters the Dotonbori River passing through Osaka’s busy downtown area. On the way there is Tombori Riverwalk’s “Tazaemonbashi Wharf,” and the last stop is Minatomachi River Place “Minatomachi Wharf.” It is also possible to take the cruise in reverse. Osakajokoen Station is the closest station to Osaka Castle Port.

This farm for tourists in Kashiwara City is abundant with nature and focusses mainly on grape picking. A wide variety of grapes are cultivated allowing you to enjoy an all-you-can-eat smorgasbord of grapes. You can also harvest chestnuts and satsuma-oranges. The grape varieties include Pione, Muscat, Rosario Bianco, Muscat Berry A, Red Fuji, Newberry A, Koshu, and more. While what's available is dependent on season there is a nice appeal to trying varieties that are not commonly seen at the market. The vineyard is also well known for its gorgeous setting sun.

This mandarin orange orchard is located in Mikayama, Kaizuka City. From October through early December, visitors can enjoy all-you-can-eat mandarin orange picking, as well as sweet potato digging (limited to mandarin orange picking customers). You can also eat a meal on the farm with an advance reservation - nabe hotpot, makunouchi bento box lunches, and other meals are served in a Japanese-style room as well as a banquet hall, and there's also a barbecue ground for customers to use.

This activity-oriented museum is located in 4-Chome Minamijima-cho, Sakai Ward, Sakai City. The museum is a place where visitors can learn about the history of the confection known as konpeito as well as how it is made. The museum offers two (reservation required) programs - a konpeito class and a sugar art class. You can use a mini kama kettle to make konpeito, or use 13 varieties of colored sugar to make sugar art.

This activity center adjoins Tajiri Fishing Port in Rinku Port Kita, Tajiri Town, Sennan County, Osaka Prefecture. The center has an adjoining barbecue area and during its Sunday morning market, you can grill up and eat the foods you have purchased on the spot. The center also operates an oyster hut in winter.

This fruit farm is a convenient 10-minute walk from the nearest station. Here you can have fun going strawberry picking from early December to late May. The farm grows Akihime strawberries. A variety rarely seen in supermarkets, Akihime are tender, juicy, and sweet, and are not very tart. Strawberry picking is reservation-only. You can also buy souvenirs to take home or give as a souvenir from the farm's shop.

This hiking course is located on the grounds of Izumi Municipal Seishonen no Ie, a social education facility built around the naturally lush Mt. Hachigamaru and Mt. Makio, part of the Izumi Mountain Range south of Kongo-Ikoma-Kisen Quasi-National Park. The 1.4-kilometer-long course traverses a 200-meter difference in altitude and extends from Izumi Municipal Seishonen no Ie to the 422-meter-high peak of Mt. Hachigamaru. From an observatory on top of the mountain, visitors can get a sweeping view of Izumi City as well as Kansai International Airport, Osaka Bay, and Awaji Island.
