    Osaka Castle Park in Chuo Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture is a municipal park. Inside the large park, there are historic buildings and public facilities. Inside the Tenshukaku (castle tower) of Osaka Castle, which was restored in 1931, is open to the public for a fee as a historical museum and is also popular with overseas tourists. It is also a well-known place for seasonal flowers, such as cherry blossoms in Nishinomaru Garden (fees apply) and plums in the plum grove in Osaka Castle and has many visitors during the flowering seasons. At the Osaka-jo Hall and the Osaka Castle Band Shell, a range of music events, such as concerts, are held.

    Boasting a size about 65 times that of the Koshien Baseball Stadium, the Expo ’70 Commemorative Park is a huge park built on the site of the Osaka Expo. Also, in the central rest area of the Japanese Garden you can see videos of the Expo that took place here in 1970 making it an important place to witness the events that occurred.     This park in Sakai City is located 15 minutes' walk from Mozu Station, near the mausoleum of Emperor Nintoku. This heavily symbolic park is steeped in nature and history. Within the park are open greens, a gourd-shaped pond, children forest, museum, tea house, Japanese gardens and many other fascinating places to visit. The park was selected to be included in Japan's top 100 historical parks list. Near the gourd-shaped pond, approximately 400 various types of cherry tree have been planted, including Yoshino cherry trees and Oshima cherry trees. When in full bloom, the whole area is painted a beautiful florid pink. The park's hill and pond circuit-style garden is also a popular place for locals to relax.

    This agricultural park opened in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture in 2000 and is focused on providing agricultural experiences to visitors. The site is large enough to fit eight Koshien Stadiums, and gorgeous rape blossoms and cosmoses bloom along with other seasonal flowers. Visitors can enjoy a shepherd dog show, horseback riding, cow milking, a petting zoo, and several other offerings. There’s also a grass ski slope, bicycles built for entertainment, and various areas perfect for moving your body, making it popular with families. There’s even a classroom for making sausages and handmade bread.

    This seaside park stretches out across the coast opposite Kansai International Airport. The park itself is divided into two areas, Symbol Garden and Seaside Garden. On the Symbol Garden side, there are rock gardens with seasonal flowers and an inland sea cove. The inland sea cove is especially popular with children, as they can touch the sea water there, so parents often visit it with their children. On the Seaside Garden side, the main attraction is the long pebble covered marble beach.     This urban park stretches northwest of the Katamachi Line's Fujisawa Station, with Yamada Pond at its center.     This municipal park spans Tsurumi Ward and Moriguchi City. Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park was first developed in 1990, as the main venue for the International Garden and Greenery Exposition (Expo '90). The park is located directly outside the Underground Nagahori Tsurumi Ryokuchi Line's Tsurumi Ryokuchi Station. Many of the 1990 Exposition's facilities and gardens still remain, including the Sakuya Konohana Kan (botanical garden) and the Inochi no Tou tower. Many of the spaces previously used for things like the amusement park have been repurposed as horse-riding courses, gyms and sports facilities. There are also camping grounds and barbeque plazas for the public to freely enjoy sports and recreation here.

    This vast park at the foot of mountains is approx. six minute-walk from the Kintetsu Railway Nara Line's Hiraoka Station. In the cherry blossom square, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Higashi Osaka City, about 100 Yoshino cherry blossoms bloom every year during the peak season, painting the entire area in pink. In addition, there are also observatories where you can watch Osaka's spectacular sunset, and a stone tablet with a haiku written by Matsuo Basho during his last trip crossing Kuragari Pass. Forest Toy Box, which reopened in June 2016, is 100-120 meters high, and uses its height and slope for a roller slide that is very popular with children.

    A municipal park located in Osaka City’s Tennoji Ward. Facilities such as the Tennoji Zoo; Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts; and Keitakuen Garden, a renowned garden which once belonged to the Sumitomo clan, are located inside the park. Historic Mt. Chausu, found in the northeast part of the park, served as the headquarters of Tokugawa Ieyasu during the winter campaign of the siege of Osaka, as well as the headquarters of Sanada Yukimura during the summer campaign of the siege. In October 2015, the park entrance area was remodeled as the natural lawn Park Market facility, and here visitors can find fashionable cafés, a farm fresh vegetable market, restaurants, a dog run, and futsal court.

    This park is located just past Tosabori Road, south of Umeda, Osaka. The park is split into two parts, east and west, across Naniwa-suji Street, with rows of Zolkova trees and a rose garden on the east side, and Utsubo Tennis Center on the west side, which hosts international tennis competitions. The rose garden is the oldest in Osaka City, and 3,400 roses are planted there, with 170 different varieties. The garden is used, not only for people to visit, but also doubles as a wedding venue. Every year, in mid-May, when the roses are in bloom, the Rose Festa is held here, drawing a great many visitors.

    2020/1/31(金) 仕事の取引先を関空に送り届けた後、和歌山へ向けてドライブしている途中、トイレ休憩に立ち寄りました。 入場料がたしか600円ほどで、トイレ休憩にしては高過ぎるのですが、海水浴場があり、BBQなどの設備が整っています。夏場に家族で半日遊びに来ることを考えると格安と思います。
