    Osaka Kishiwadashi Sangayamachou Oike Ass 701
    This general public park is in the hilly area of Sangayama Town, Kishiwada City, Osaka Prefecture. It contains lush green and various areas for the enjoyment of kids and adults alike. There’s “Tonbo no Yugu” (Dragonfly’s Playground), which features 45 different types of play structures, which makes it popular for both small children and older children. There are plenty of spots where you can enjoy nature, such as the “Rose Garden” that blooms with over 2,300 roses in spring and fall, the “Fall Foliage Valley” boasts stunning leaf colors in the autumn, and a big lake with birds swimming in it. Complete with large grassy fields and plains, this is a great spot for a family picnic.

    This seaside park is in Sawa, Kaizuka City, Osaka Prefecture and contains Nishikinohama Beach Park, a popular Osaka sea bathing spot. The blue sea, sand, and pine forest are gorgeous, and many visitors come to enjoy the one-kilometer stretch of beach. Surrounding a monument shaped like a sailboat mast is a sports field and several play structures, while the east side of the park has tennis courts and a baseball field. The “cherry blossom viewing hill” is covered in cherry blossoms in spring, and there are zones where you can enjoy seasonal blooms as well. Families can enjoy the day here.

    The multipurpose hall is approximately ten-minutes by foot from Kishiwada Station. It was opened in April, 2002 as a symbol of the Kishiwada Bay Area and looks over Osaka Bay. In the building you'll find various sized halls, a multipurpose hall, a cultural exchange hall, conference rooms, and studios. When arranged for its primary use of the appreciation of traditional Japanese performance art the main hall holds 1,552 seats but it can be rearranged to serve a multitude of functions, anything from theater, opera, ballet and classical concerts to conventions.

    This park is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot along the banks of the Okawa River. The riverside park runs from the Owaka River's Kemaaraizeki to the downstream Tenma Bridge and has water, greenery and cherry trees. There are approx. 4,800 cherry trees that line the 4.2 kilometers of the park, and it becomes a spectacular spot to view cherry blossoms bustling with many people when they are in bloom. Along the park, besides Japan's first gas lamps and retro brick buildings such as one that houses a mint, there is also a water plaza and promenade, making it an ideal place for relaxing strolls. In addition, the park has barrier-free access.

    This is one of Osaka Prefecture's most famous green areas and is only a five-minute walk from Ryokuchi-koen Station. This area of land, which is 33 times the size of Koshien Baseball Stadium, has a botanical garden where you can enjoy plants from all the seasons, tennis, a horse-riding facility, a swimming pool, a play area with a large playground, the Open-Air Museum of Old Japanese Farm Houses, an outdoor stage, and more. The park was selected as one of Japan's Best 100 City Parks. The park is rich with nature with pine trees, green roads, and a nearby forest with fountains and streams. Many events are also held at the various facilities across the park. People visit at all times of the year when they're in the North Osaka area.

    This municipal park spans Tsurumi Ward and Moriguchi City. Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park was first developed in 1990, as the main venue for the International Garden and Greenery Exposition (Expo '90). The park is located directly outside the Underground Nagahori Tsurumi Ryokuchi Line's Tsurumi Ryokuchi Station. Many of the 1990 Exposition's facilities and gardens still remain, including the Sakuya Konohana Kan (botanical garden) and the Inochi no Tou tower. Many of the spaces previously used for things like the amusement park have been repurposed as horse-riding courses, gyms and sports facilities. There are also camping grounds and barbeque plazas for the public to freely enjoy sports and recreation here.

    This museum is approximately a 13-minute walk from the Nankai Line's Kishiwada Station. You can learn all about the Kishiwada Danjiri festival at this facility. Actual items used in the Danjiri festival are exhibited in the event hall on the second floor, and every hour, there is a screening of the Danjiri festival on the 27-screen display. Also exhibited here, are things such as the Old Kamiyacho, which was made in 1842 and retired in 1990. In the experience corner on the fourth floor, you can experience what you feel like to ride on the top of Danjiri big roof, which is just like the stage star and often a carpenter does the role, and the exciting Danjiri-bayashi, with the great Taiko drums and small Taiko drums.

    These portable shrines are drawn along by columns of young men during festival days. I saw such a parade in 2013.

    A cultural facility containing colorful gardens and flower-focused offerings, the Osaka Garden of Floral Culture is located in Kawachinagano City, Osaka Prefecture. You’ll find a rose garden with approximately 300 species of plants and 1,500 specimens as well as a clematis garden with about 300 species and over 600 specimens. There are also peonies, Chinese peonies, plum blossoms, hydrangeas, and many other types of flowers that can be seen regardless of season. There’s also a pyramid-shaped greenhouse that’s one of the largest in the country and houses plants from all over the world, such as cacti and orchids. The event hall hosts exhibitions, spot sales, and other plant-themed events.

    人もあまりいてないので、ゆっくりと楽しめる。春夏秋冬、四季折々の花が魅力的で、河内長野駅からバスもあるので、ぜひいってほしい。

    Exiting the underground Nanba Station from exit 26-B, you will see a building resembling an octagonal UFO across the Hanshin Expressway. The Minato-machi River Place is a facility complex built around the Live House, Namba Hatch. Various live events including rock and hip-hop are held in this building. There are also three plazas set up outside for use as outdoor event zones. Mini live events, exhibitions and other events, such as flea markets are also held here. The Dotonbori river flows past the complex, and with its beautiful nighttime views, is a popular date spot.

    JR難波駅と道頓堀川の間にある、お寺のお堂のような人目を引く建造物。観光客の動線からは少し外れているが、すぐ北側に遊覧船の乗り場もあり、川の見える階段に座り込んで一休みする人も多い。中にはライブホールが入っているらしい。

    This vast park at the foot of mountains is approx. six minute-walk from the Kintetsu Railway Nara Line's Hiraoka Station. In the cherry blossom square, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Higashi Osaka City, about 100 Yoshino cherry blossoms bloom every year during the peak season, painting the entire area in pink. In addition, there are also observatories where you can watch Osaka's spectacular sunset, and a stone tablet with a haiku written by Matsuo Basho during his last trip crossing Kuragari Pass. Forest Toy Box, which reopened in June 2016, is 100-120 meters high, and uses its height and slope for a roller slide that is very popular with children.
