Osaka Sakaishi Sakai-ku Mozusekiunchou 2 inside Daisen Park
This museum is located in Daisen Park, just 500 meters from the JR Hanwa Line's Mozu Station. The museum was opened in 1980, as a memorial project for the city's 90th anniversary. Many items pertaining to Sakai City's history, art and customs are preserved displayed in the museum's permanent exhibition, including reproductions of a map of Emperor Nintoku's stone mausoleum and a terracotta unearthed from Emperor Nintoku's tomb in the Kofun / Nintoku Tomb exhibition, and a model of the city of Sakai and a Sakai (matchlock) gun in the Free City Sakai exhibition.

Really enjoyed this museum. The excellent exhibits and friendly stall. But the best was the video, with English subtitles - a great overview of the area. Well worth seeking this out & spending an...

    Osaka Hirakatashi Yamadaikekouen 1-1
This urban park stretches northwest of the Katamachi Line's Fujisawa Station, with Yamada Pond at its center. Yamada Pond is said to have been built 1,200 years ago, and a huge variety of birds can be observed in the rich natural surroundings. There are three zones to the park, the Rice Terraces, Orchards and Mixed Grove of Trees. These three zones depict the landscape of old-fashioned Japan, and because of this, the park was selected as one of Japan's top 100 historical parks in 2006. There is a barbeque plaza, making it ideal for creating memories with your children, and the park can also be used for photography, especially cosplay photoshoots. No fee is required for small-scale photography, and changing rooms are available, free of charge.

This is a beautiful park with a lake. I visited in winter, but I suspect it would be beautiful in autumn and spring. There are many different types of gardens. There are many toilets available and it...

    Osaka Kawachinagano-shi Amanocho 1304
"This amusement park is located in Amano-cho, Kawachinagano City. Located in Kongo-Ikoma-Kisen Quasi-National Park, here you can have fun with a variety of bicycle-themed attractions, including a square where you can ride some 800 unique and unusual bicycles, a three-kilometer-long cycling course, and a cycle-powered coaster you can speed up by pedaling harder. There's also the ""Fore Reso!"" outdoor waterpark open in summer."

Located in Hattori Ryokuchi Park in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture, the Open-air Museum of Old Japanese Farmhouses was the first open-air museum of its kind in Japan when it opened in 1956. The Museum has on display 12 representative examples of traditional farmhouses from different parts of Japan—from Iwate Prefecture in the north to Amami-Oshima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture in the south—that have been relocated to the Museum site. This botanical garden is south-east of Nagai Park, in front of the Midosuji Line's Nagai Station. The garden covers approximately 24.2 hectares, and cherry trees, tulips and hydrangeas are planted so the garden is in bloom all year round. In addition to these, rare ancient plants and trees, such as Metasequoia, also known as living fossils are exhibited in the gardens. There is also a log house in the herb garden, which offers a free herbal tea service on the first and third Saturday of each month.

We have been in Japan for 2 weeks and have seen some beautiful gardens. These gardens are very neglected - a total disappointment and so unJapan like. Rubbish in the pond, dead plants, weeds...

Commercial buildings in central Semba. The buildings are ten, looking like supporting the Hanshin Expressway, with the first through third are serving as a wholesale market, fourth through ninth are for wholesale textile stores, and the tenth is a shopping center filled with specialty stores. Its major characteristic is its direct access to the Midosuji Line / Central Line Honmachi Station and the Sakaisuji Line / Central Line Honmachi Station, where three lines meet at four different stations. The shopping center comes complete with its own car park, and customers can enter the shops without ever getting wet in the rain. And, with the various restaurants and cafes centered in the underground area, it is always full of tourists and families, making it a very lively place.

    Osaka Osakasayamashi Ikejirinaka 2
This museum is dedicated to land development history, with the dyke and unearthed cultural assets from Japan's oldest dammed reservoir, the historic Sayamaike. The dam was designed by architect Tadao Ando. The first thing to draw visitors' eyes is the permanent exhibition of a cross section of the dyke, which was created using the Shikiha koho method of construction, in the Asuka period. A 15-meter high and 60-meter wide section of the dyke was reconstructed for the exhibition, so the stratum of 1,400 years since the dyke's construction can be clearly seen. A place of lifelong learning, there are also many special exhibits and items of interest in the museum.

Two reasons to make the effort to visit Sayamaike: Tadao Ando’s building and waterfall and learning about the genius of Japanese engineering from 600. Our guide went out of his way to make our...
