    The Museum of Oriental Ceramics, Osaka, which opened in 1982, is dedicated to ceramics from the East Asia region. The Museum’s collection—which is focused mainly on Chinese and Korean ceramics—is world-class in terms of both quantity and quality. The 300 or so representative items that make up the Museum’s permanent exhibitions effectively bring across the appeal of ceramics, such as the painstaking effort made to ensure that ceramics reflect the light to best effect. The Museum’s themed exhibitions and special exhibitions are also very popular.

    I visited this place on february, it is just nice. Easy to access by subway, just a few hundreds walking distance.

    The National Bunraku Theatre, which opened in 1984, is located in the Chuo Ward of Osaka City. The 753-seat Large Hall is mainly used for performances of Ningyo Joruri (Bunraku) puppet theatre, one of Japan’s traditional performing arts; it is also used as a venue for theatrical productions, dance performances, etc. The Small Hall is used for performances of Rakugo, Manzai, Rokyoku (Naniwa-bushi recitation), etc. The National Bunraku Theatre also holds special performances for schoolchildren etc. who may not be familiar with Bunraku, with explanations. The Exhibition Hall in the National Bunraku Theatre has permanent exhibitions of books etc. relating to the history of Bunraku, as well as holding special thematic exhibitions.

    Very nice traditional theatre. Show a bit long but authentic. My girlfriend got bored but I loved it, the costumes, acting, sets were incredible.

    The Abeno Harukas building is a skyscraper in Osaka City; at a height of 300 meters, it is the tallest building in Japan (as of 2017). Since opening in 2014, Abeno Harukas has become a major new landmark in Osaka; the “Harukas 300” observation platform on the top floor, which offers marvelous views of the Osaka cityscape, is very popular with both domestic and overseas tourists. The upper floors house a hotel and offices, with the Abeno Harukas Museum (an art museum) on the 16th floor.

The building is very distinctive, with a red ferris wheel on the roof, and with the use of a striking red and white color scheme for the external walls. This is a trend-setting mall, with around 170 shops—mainly selling fashion and miscellaneous goods targeted at female consumers—and restaurants. The ferris wheel on the roof is an Umeda district landmark, enabling visitors to view Osaka City and Mt. Rokko from a height of 106 meters above ground level. The mother-and-child pair of red whale sculptures hung in the first-floor atrium were designed by famous industrial designer Tatsuya Ishii.

    The Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall is located inside the Chayamachi Applause in Chayamachi. It was previously known as the Umeda Koma Theater. It moved to its current location from the west of the HEP FIVE building in 1992 and in 2005 it was renamed. You can enjoy a wide variety of performances from Takarazuka Revues, plays, modern and classic musicals, opera, and ballet. The auditorium holds 1,905 seats with a large chandelier in the center. You can enter on the first and second floors with a lobby on each floor, as well as shops and restaurants.

    Located on the 16th floor of the 300-meter-tall Abeno Harukas skyscraper, the Abeno Haruka Museum is a city-center art museum that takes full advantage of its location near a major terminal railway station. The Museum has no permanent exhibitions; instead, it holds several different thematic exhibitions every year, on themes relating to the cultural properties that are found near Kintetsu railway lines, East Asian art (including Japanese art), Western art, contemporary art, etc. The Museum occupies an entire floor of the Abeno Harukas building, giving it a spacious feel; as a great spot to take a break from shopping or sightseeing to admire art in a relaxing atmosphere, it has become a very popular art museum.

    Visited during recent typhoon and everything else seemed to be closed. In tall building - exhibit was fantastic. Stayed for a coffee afterwards at the cafe with wonderful views of Osaka.

    This theater is located in 1-Chome Dotonbori. Modeled after the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the theater was opened as the first Western-style theater in the Kansai region in 1923. The theater's impressive front entrance sports a grand Neo-Renaissance-style arch. The theater's European-style entrance is on the first floor; concessions and sofas are positioned around the second floor lobby, and floors three through five are for audience seating. In 1997, facilities were upgraded and added while leaving the front entrance in its original condition. The theater hosts kabuki, shinpa, and Shochiku Shinkigeki plays as well as reviews, musicals, concerts, and more.

    The Tempozan Ferris Wheel is located in Tempozan Harbor Village in Osaka’s Bay Area. When it opened to the public in 1997, the wheel, which has a height of 112.5 meters and a diameter of 100 meters, was the largest ferris wheel in the world, and consequently attracted a great deal of interest. During the 15-minute ride, visitors can enjoy magnificent views of the Kinki region, including the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, Kansai International Airport, Mt. Rokko, etc. The Tempozan Ferris Wheel has four see-through cabins with transparent walls and a transparent floor, which are very popular with young people and tourists. At night, the Ferris Wheel is illuminated using a combination of indirect and direct LED lighting, which is a sight not to be missed.

    This park in Sakai City is located 15 minutes' walk from Mozu Station, near the mausoleum of Emperor Nintoku. This heavily symbolic park is steeped in nature and history. Within the park are open greens, a gourd-shaped pond, children forest, museum, tea house, Japanese gardens and many other fascinating places to visit. The park was selected to be included in Japan's top 100 historical parks list. Near the gourd-shaped pond, approximately 400 various types of cherry tree have been planted, including Yoshino cherry trees and Oshima cherry trees. When in full bloom, the whole area is painted a beautiful florid pink. The park's hill and pond circuit-style garden is also a popular place for locals to relax.

The site is large enough to fit eight Koshien Stadiums, and gorgeous rape blossoms and cosmoses bloom along with other seasonal flowers. Visitors can enjoy a shepherd dog show, horseback riding, cow milking, a petting zoo, and several other offerings. There’s also a grass ski slope, bicycles built for entertainment, and various areas perfect for moving your body, making it popular with families. There’s even a classroom for making sausages and handmade bread.

    An entertainment hall dedicated to rakugo traditional comedic storytelling which opened in 2006 and the only dedicated rakugo facility in the Osaka-Kyoto area. Rakugo masters belonging to the Kamigata Rakugo Association perform daily. The matinee program changes weekly while the evening show changes daily. The theater seats up to 216 and attendees can enjoy the performances of young newcomers and veterans up close and personal. The theater also provides “yose” variety shows featuring magicians and manzai comedy duos. Outside, the theater is decorated with a red rickshaw, a recreation of the one used by Katsura Harudanji I, and this has become a popular spot for taking commemorative photos.     This museum is located in Daisen Park, just 500 meters from the JR Hanwa Line's Mozu Station. The museum was opened in 1980, as a memorial project for the city's 90th anniversary. Many items pertaining to Sakai City's history, art and customs are preserved displayed in the museum's permanent exhibition, including reproductions of a map of Emperor Nintoku's stone mausoleum and a terracotta unearthed from Emperor Nintoku's tomb in the Kofun / Nintoku Tomb exhibition, and a model of the city of Sakai and a Sakai (matchlock) gun in the Free City Sakai exhibition.
