阪急梅田店で笑み福を見つけたので買ってみました。小豆羊羹に、縁起のいい素材が散りばめられた、お正月-節分までの限定和菓子。お正月は干支柄の包装紙ですが、1月中旬-は節分用の包装紙に代わる。デコレーションケーキにも見える和洋折衷菓子の羊羹で美味しかった。縁かつぎついでにコロナも終息しないかなぁ-って思いながら頂きました。

This old tea caddy maker was established in 1875 and offers handcrafted tea caddies in copper, brass and tin plate. Each piece is a work of art made via a complicated and delicate production process of 130 steps passed down from the first generation, and is airtight with its character revealed after long use. Still using traditional methods, today they also make and sell tin plate coffee cans and pasta cans with attached measures; they are popular as gifts as well as items to use oneself. The shop is distinctive for its whitewashed walls, hanging noren curtains and show window with arranged tea caddies. The closest station is Kiyomizu-Gojo Station.

As a result of opening a new store in 1966, the Tsubuan-iri Yatsuhashi Otabe they created became known throughout Japan as a Kyoto confectionery. The shio (salt-based sauce) horumon is particularly popular and not just locals but people from across the country and even the world come to this popular establishment to eat it. In addition to shio, the restaurant also offers shoyu yuzu tare (soy sauce yuzu citrus sauce) and miso tare (miso-based sauce) horumon dishes. The restaurant's specialty, however, is its ""Hoso Shio,"" small beef intestine in a salt-based sauce. A venerable Kyoto pickles shop founded in 1832 located in the Sendo-cho neighborhood close to Kawaramachi Station. The shop creates Kyoto pickles which draw out the maximum flavor the ingredients involved using several varieties of carefully selected kombu kelp and adjusting the number of days of pickling and salt used in line with each ingredient’s inherent characteristics and the outside temperature and humidity. In addition to standards like Shiba-zuke (pickled eggplant and cucumber), the shop also sells limited time items made with seasonal ingredients.
