    Kyoto Miyadushi Yura 949
Established in 1832, this historic sake brewery is located approximately a seven-minute walk from the Tango-Yura Station on the Kyoto Tango Railway and approximately a 20-minute from the Miyazu-Amanohashidate Interchange off the Kyoto-Jukan Expressway. Visitors may tour the wine storehouse and casks from the early 1800s Tenpo era, when the winery was established, can listen to the history and story behind the origin of the name, and, of course, enjoy wine tasting the raw sake made on site. Next to the sake storehouse is a small shop selling various alcoholic delicacies including small brew sakes and liqueurs, and other related miscellaneous items. The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes. One can also rest and enjoy sake sweets in the cafe created inside the old rice mill.

일본 맥주가 유명하다보니 이런 곳에 꼭 방문하고 싶었습니다. 내부에 들어가보지는 못했지만 겉에서 보기에도 장인이 근무할 것만 같은 곳이었어요.

Kyoto Areas

around-area-map

Its wooden tea houses, shuffling geisha, and spiritual sights have seen Kyoto hailed as the heart of traditional Japan, a world apart from ultramodern Tokyo. Despite being the Japanese capital for over a century, Kyoto escaped destruction during World War II, leaving behind a fascinating history which can be felt at every turn, from the fully gold-plated Kinkakuji Temple down to traditional customs such as geisha performances and tea ceremonies, which are still practiced to this day.
