  • Imajo Vineyard
    Leisure / Hobbies
    Shiga Nagahama-shi Imajocho 1418
This tourist vineyard is situated at the foot of Mt. Nanao. Individuals can easily go grape picking here without the need for an advance reservation. The farm makes use of large greenhouses, ensuring customers will stay dry even if it rains. The farm also has running water, toilets, and a rest area, enabling a relaxing visit. The grape varieties the farm grows include Early Steuben, Muscat Bailey A, and Sunny Rouge. Customers going grape picking can eat all the grapes they pick, and there's no time limit! Note, however, that you cannot take home the grapes you pick. Instead, the farm sells grapes perfect for bringing home as a souvenir at its own shop. In most years, the farm is open to tourists from early August to early October.
