    A swimming beach located in Matsubara-cho, Hikone City. The beach consists of approximately one kilometer of white sands and pine forest. The beach also serves as the venue for the Japan International Birdman Rally held at Lake Biwa each year in summer, as well as for the Hikone Northern Lake Biwa Fireworks Festival.

    A swimming beach located on the right bank of the mouth of the Echi River in Shingai-cho, Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture. Known for its clean and shallow waters, the beach is a popular destination for families. The beach is also blessed with lovely scenery consisting of white stands and continuous rows of pine trees. During the swimming season, the beach bustles with families.
