"A five-minute walk from Ishiyamadera Station on the Keihan Electric Railway. This cafe can be reached by heading a short distance north along Prefectural Route 3 from Hotarudani Park and taking the first right. The cafe primarily serves Yakuzen medicinal cuisine and Chinese tea. The Shin! Yakuzen dim sum combo meal is particularly popular and comes with a ""five color"" medicinal soup made with a variety of ingredients. The cafe's five grain rice and jellies are made with different ingredients depending on the season. The cafe also offers limited-time, seasonal dishes limited to just 10 customers a day. In addition, the cafe serves its own original black tea blend."

Shiga Areas

around-area-map

Visitors to Shiga prefecture are almost always hopping east across the prefectural border from Kyoto, and they are almost certainly Lake Biwa-bound. Covering an area of 670 square kilometers, Lake Biwa makes up the bulk of Shiga prefecture, with beautiful lakeside paths that offer myriad walking and cycling opportunities, connecting a string of museums, shrines, and picturesque views that finally lead you to Hikone Castle on the eastern side of the lake.
