The resort has a variety of baths supplied by two different privately-owned source springs, including outdoor baths and an excursion bath. Other facilities include a sauna with loyly. The adjoining World Performance Castle is a bedrock bath with a variety of spas. There are also four restaurants, including a French dining bar and Japanese-style yakiniku barbecue joint; plus a salon offering massages and other beauty treatments.

    日帰り温泉施設のあがりゃんせの本館二階の階段を上がったところにあるイタリアレストランです。昼のランチをいただきましたが、ピザが選択でき、割とお得感がありました。

    A free shuttle bus leaves from JR Seta Station. This recently remodeled bathhouse is a part of the New Biwako Kenko Summer Land and Hotel situated along National Route 1 between the Tsukinowa 1-Chome and Tsukinowa 2-Chome Intersections. The bathhouse fills its baths using only the waters of a natural source hot spring 1,500 meters underground; the spring is a mildly radioactive calcium sodium chloride cold mineral spring. The waters of this recuperative hot spring are naturally just slightly radioactive and are said to treat a wide variety of ailments, including nerve pain, bruises, sleep disorders, and gout. Customers can enjoy baths such as an outdoor bath and a Shigaraki ware porcelain bath. The Biwakoza troupe also holds taishu engeki theater performances here.

The spa offers treatments such as a magic stone special course, relaxation and body course, and facial course produced by an aesthetician with a globally-recognized diploma. From the salon on the top floor of the hotel, customers can also enjoy a sweeping view of Lake Biwa.
  • Ogoto Onsen Hexagonal Footbath

    A one-minute walk from JR Ogotoonsen Station. This footbath is just outside the east exit of the station and was built in 2008 by the Ogoto Onsens Tourist Association to commemorate the renaming of the station. The footbath is open each day from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is free to use. The waters of the footbath's alkaline simple spring are said to beautify the skin and are also recommended for those with delicate skin and pregnant women. Everyone is welcome to experience the waters of a historic hot spring said to have been developed by the great monk Saicho, founder of Japanese Tendai Buddhism.

    JR大津駅の近くの銭湯です。地域密着型で地元の人に愛される銭湯です。サウナは、100円ですが、別に払わなくてもサウナに入れるようでした。店の人は、無愛想でしたが、露天風呂があったのと水風呂が気持ち良かったので、この評価となりました。

    大津市にある銭湯にやって来た。大津湯 地図 無料駐車場もあり利用していくことに決めた。利用者は、ほぼ100％が地元民、そしてここが集いの場でもあった。館内は、昭和の面影漂う雰囲気に心和む。とても広いとは言えないがこぢんまりしていて居心地がいい。水道水を加温した湯だが、優しい湯に感じたよ。

    桜湯は、JR草津駅の近くにある銭湯です。屋内に岩風呂があり、とても風情があります。天然温泉で、水質も良いです。またサウナもあり、地元の人が多い感じです。大人の入浴料は、450円と京都の銭湯並みの料金です。
