The shop sells stationary, old fashioned Showa period-style tableware, wooden toys, accessories, and other select boutique items from around the country and the world, as well as the shop’s own original creations.

    This accessories shop is located in Kurokabe Square, a tourist destination situated along the ancient Hokkoku Highway in Nagahama which makes use of the area's many old fashioned buildings. The shop sells accessories made with natural stones and the traditional glassware that is one of Nagahama's claims to fame, as well as stoles and other cloth accessories. One of the great things about the shop is that staff can give you advice on what kind of stones to go with. The shop's original glass bead bracelets are particularly recommended. The shop also offers an accessory making class children can enjoy as well.

Visitors to Shiga prefecture are almost always hopping east across the prefectural border from Kyoto, and they are almost certainly Lake Biwa-bound.
