- Nakayama Herb Park is a botanical garden is adjacent to Genjo no Yakata in Taki County, Mie Prefecture. The garden is maintained in honor of the accomplishments of Noro Genjo, a medical pioneer of mid Edo period, who learned Western medicine from Dutch books, and was born here. Visitors can see 250 kinds of medicinal plants and trees year-round. Among the plants on view are dandelions (for gastrointestinal disorders, bitter stomachic, asthma), chameleon plants (for swelling, hemorrhoids, and hardening of the arteries), and heal-all (for diuresis, bladder infections), and others, including chamomile and fennel.

足湯目的で行きました。途中の道は狭く、駐車場に辿り着くまで少し迷いました。足湯は先客お一人のみで、ゆったりできました。ハーブの香りが心地良かったです。

- Mie Pref. Igashi Kiryu 2356
- This eight hectare herb garden is located inside the facilities of the Menard Aoyama Resort. Utilizing the climate of Takayama Kogen at an altitude of 600 meters that is cool throughout the year, more than 300 types of herbs such as lavender and chamomile are cultivated here. It is open from the end of April until the end of November. You can walk along a promenade within the forest on the facility, allowing you to enjoy forest bathing and its healing effects. In addition, they offer herb tea and dishes such as herb pasta at the cafe in the garden. There is also a shop that sells herb-related goods, so you can fully enjoy herbs to your heart's content.

入口近くに小さな茶店があります。美味しいそばを頂けるので行きでも帰りでも楽しめます。報道では水芭蕉が毎年のようになされますが、四季折々の身近な草花を楽しむことができます。
Mie Areas
Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
