    This pearl theme park is located approximately a 10-minute drive from JR and Kintetsu Railway Toba Station. The first floor is the shopping area, and the second floor has a tour course and gallery. In the sales area, you can choose accessories while consulting with the staff, and also go on a tour course listening to an audio guide and watching videos explaining the unknown mysteries of the ocean, several tales about pearls, the principles of making pearls and global environmental problems on a large 200-inch screen with an amazing sound. You can see the craftsmen actually working and witness the moment each pearl becomes an accessory.

    This was an excellent museum!! I learned more about oysters and pearls and the process of making cultured pearls than I ever knew there was to know. There were plenty of very informative signs...

    This tour company is located about five minutes on foot from JR Kintetsu Toba Station. They offer an array of tours including marine based activities like their Sea Forest Walk and Lunch and eating tours that let you enjoy the bounty of the sea near Iseshima like their Local Food Hopping tour. Their excursions are great for getting a seasonal taste of Toba. Their popular Sea-Glass Gel Candle, Accessories, and Magnet Workshop will provide wonderful memories with the pounding of the waves in the background.

    This lodge is for sightseeing guide staff in Toba City. If you make a request at this guide center or the Toba City Tourist Association Toba Station Tourist Information Center, you can receive a tour of Toba City by volunteer guides. Although the tours are generally free, some cost a fee. There is an exhibition room on the second floor with free admission. There are two rooms with exhibits about Kuki Yoshitaka, who served Oda Nobunaga as a naval commander, and Kadono Ikunoshin, who was a businessman born in Toba in the Meiji period (1868-1912), respectively.

Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
