- This large aquarium is located in Minato Ward, Nagoya City. It is comprised of two buildings; the North Building and the South Building. The South Building is notable for exhibits that recreate five parts of the world's oceans, namely Japan, Australia, the Equator, Antarctica, and the deep sea. Check out the ''sardine tornado'' in its large tank as well. The North Building, which is themed around Cetacea classified marine mammals, displays species including the common bottlenose dolphin and beluga whales. Its biggest attraction is the dolphin shows held in its main pool, which happens to be Japan's largest. The dynamic performances are popular with people of all ages.

A lovely place to enjoy with kids. You have lovely dolphin show, a great aquarium, a ship that depicts the life of a sailor with life size and life like models.

- This large outdoor theme park based on the popular children’s toy of Lego(R) opened in April of 2017. The park is divided up into seven areas including attractions and roller coasters where visitors can have adventures in a mysterious world, an area that recreates Japan’s famous places in Lego(R), and an area where guests can play freely with Lego(R) blocks. At the largest Lego(R) shop in Asia, they also sell products that are limited to the park. From small children to adults, this is a popular spot that the entire family can enjoy together. The closest station is Kinjo-futo Station.

- A large children’s center where children can play to their heart’s content. Here you can spend a relaxing time under the sun surrounded by nature. The facility’s spacious grounds are filled with play equipment, including a wooden playground, Tarzan rope, and raft bridge. The park also holds events for children. In addition to an English club and a dance club, the facility also has a gymnastics school which parents and children can join in together.

- This railroad museum located in the Minato Ward of Naogya City is based around the Tokaido Shinkansen yet also introduces high-speed rail technology in use from conventional trains to superconducting magnetic levitating trains (SCMaglev). The museum has 39 real train cars on display including the MLX01-type linear motor car that was displayed at Expo 2005 Aichi Japan, and visitors can even enter some of them. There is a railroad diorama and also numerous display corners where visitors can learn about train history and technology through exhibits. The Shinkansen and conventional train simulators (chosen by lottery) are very popular. There is also a very dynamic mini theater where visitors can experience a simulated world of a SCMaglev train cruising at a speed of 500 kilometers/hour.

- A large public park located a three minute walk from Arakogawa-koen Station on the Aonami Line. The main Garden Plaza area has cherry trees and a Japanese garden and a gardening advice station, exhibitions, and other events are held here. あまり知られていませんが、名古屋にも桜のトンネルがあります。遊歩道に被さるように桜の木のトンネルになっています。川沿いにあるため川の水面に反射して綺麗な景色を作ってます。

- The nickname for a series of bridges along the Isewangan Expressway spanning from the Tokai Interchange to the Tobishima Interchange. The Triton is comprised of three cable-stayed bridges: the Meiko Higashi Bridge, the Meiko Chuo Bridge, and the Meiko Nishi Bridge. The name is a reference to the sea god Triton and was chosen after a public contest. The bridges are lit up different, seasonal colors, such as the green of fresh leaves in spring and the red of fall foliage in autumn, adding vivid color to the nighttime scenery of the port.

- Anchored at the Port of Nagoya Garden Pier and open to the public, this Antarctic research ship is Japan’s first full-scale icebreaker. Visitors can tour the interior of the ship and the helicopter deck, and in the museum which is inside a former hangar is a diorama that recreates the appearance of an outdoor survey to introduce the nature of Antarctica and the significance of carrying out surveys. Visitors can experience the lifestyle of an Antarctic exploration through seeing the bridge, galley (kitchen), barbershop, and survey team’s bedrooms that were actually used during the voyages. The closest station is Nagoyako Station.

Aichi Areas
Aichi is a prefecture of great natural beauty with Nagoya city at its heart, a busy hub home to a labyrinth of underground shops and the 17th-century Nagoya Castle. Castles are easy to find in this history-rich prefecture, but the highlight for history buffs has to be the Museum Meiji-mura, where preserved buildings from the turn of the 20th century are displayed in all their grandeur in an outdoor museum.
