Aichi Pref. Taharashi Urachou Zao 1-46
A viewing platform located on the top of 250 meter tall Mt. Zao offering a 360 degree panoramic view. From the fourth floor viewing deck of the facility, visitors can get a sweeping view of Mikawa Bay and the Pacific Ocean, as well as Mt. Fuji on clear days. Cars can drive up to the viewing platform. A night, an outdoor illumination program represents the four seasons of Mt. Zao. You can enjoy the fairy tale-like sight from the star terrace on the second floor. The third floor has hands-on exhibits where you can play with light. The facility also has a café where you can take a break.

Aichi Pref. Owariasahishi Shiroyamachou Nagaikeshimo 4517-1
This public facility is located in Shiroyama Park, Nagaikeshimo, Shiroyama-cho, Owariasahi City. Standing nine stories tall, it has a variety of different uses, from halls used for conferences and exhibitions, to a library corner, a folklore exhibition corner, a gallery for exhibitions of paintings, an astronomical observation room and an observatory. The Skyward restaurant on the seventh floor has a reception room which seats 48 people and can be used for group events such as parties.

While I wouldnt recommend travelling far to see it, this is a pretty decent attraction if you are in the area on a clear day. The viewing deck on top of the tower, which you can access free of...

Aichi Gamagori-shi Miya Cho Minamiyama 1-14
An lookout in Miya Onsen. Its slightly elevated location provides a view of Gamagori City and Mikawa Bay. Local legend says that couples who pledge their love for each other while ringing the lookout's small bell will have a happy life together. The fence surrounding the lookout is covered with heart-shaped plates bearing the wishes of lovers who have visited. They are available for purchase at nearby stores. At night, the lookout is lit up with colorful LED lights and it's a popular spot for taking in the night view of Gamagori.

Aichi Areas

around-area-map

Aichi is a prefecture of great natural beauty with Nagoya city at its heart, a busy hub home to a labyrinth of underground shops and the 17th-century Nagoya Castle. Castles are easy to find in this history-rich prefecture, but the highlight for history buffs has to be the Museum Meiji-mura, where preserved buildings from the turn of the 20th century are displayed in all their grandeur in an outdoor museum.
