    This restaurant is inside the tourist spot Tokugawa-en Garden. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Japanese garden as you eat. The building appearance is in traditional Japanese style, while the baccarat chandeliers and other decor fuse Eastern and Western styles inside. The view of Ryusen-ko pond at the garden center is great on sunny days, and guests are often entertained here. The restaurant particularly offers “modern French cuisine” that fuses French food and Japanese techniques, and several anniversary plan menus and lunch courses are options as well. JR Ozone Station is closest.

The brightly-colored full course meals which use only local, seasonal ingredients are outstanding, and they are accompanied by a complete collection of wines carefully selected by a sommelier. The lunchtime-only “Chef Mode“ course is quite popular. Narita is located in the remodeled Japanese-style house “Okumura-tei,” which is a registered Tangible Cultural Property, and the old building is full of a relaxed and subtle Japanese ambience.     You’ll find this restaurant on the 12th floor of Nagoya Central Towers. It was renovated in 2015 and has a subdued atmosphere. The menu is based on French cuisine, but in true Kihachi fashion, its dishes are universal. You can tell them in advance about any allergies or food preferences (Halal, vegetarian, etc.) you have. In addition to being directly accessible from the station, there are private rooms, perfect for hosting guests and groups.

    This former Kasuga’s house was built in 1924 and is a 10-minute walk from Takaoka Station on the Sakura-dori Line. It offers French-based cuisine, with lunchtime starting at 11:30 a.m. with a four-item half course and a five-item full course. Dinnertime starts at 6 p.m. and offers four courses, including a half course and a course featuring the chef’s recommendations. It uses generous helpings of seasonal ingredients from across the country to produce a delicious, gentle taste. Small wedding parties are possible as well.
