"A hot spring facility located in Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The baths are divided into three different types: Hinoka-no-yu"" (hot spring with scent of hinoki cypress), ""Shakkei-no-yu"" (hot spring with natural stones arranged and scenic beauty of wild), and ""Daidarabocchi (a legendary giant who is said to have made Lake Hamana)-no-yu"". The hot water is from the Kanzanji Onsen hot spring. As the largest hot spring facility in Shizuoka Prefecture with 26 baths, it is used not only by local customers but also by many tourists."

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
