"This art museum primarily holds exhibits of Japanese fine arts, with an impressive array of styles, such as pottery, paintings, and photographs. In the regular exhibit section, a portion of the collection, such as swords, and Buddha statues, is on display. The premises include a stroll-type Japanese garden, which receives spring water from Mt. Fuji, and is called ""Ryusen-en"", a place with enjoyable views in each season."

I came during a special videogame-artifact collaboration the museum was hosting. This is a small museum and has one floor of galleries on the second floor and the ground floor has the museum store...

Located on a clematis-covered hill, the Vangi Sculpture Garden Museum is the only museum in the world dedicated to the work of the contemporary Italian figurative sculptor Giuliano Vangi. The Museum displays a range of Vangi’s sculptures created since the 1960s. The Museum garden is planted with many different varieties of clematis, including white clematis, as well as roses and tulips, with beautiful flowers in bloom all year round.

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
