Futatsubori Agricultural Experience Farm is a mandarin orange farm in Inatori, Higashiizu Town. It grows about 15 types of mandarin oranges and other oranges throughout the year so you can experience harvesting, making jam, pressing fresh juice and picking flowers. It provides a free rest area where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and also offers a café with a menu that includes drinks using mandarin oranges.

    友達家族とキャンプに行った折に訪れました。ニューサマーが美味しかったです。年長娘は花摘みが嬉しかったようです。自然と触れ合う体験はいいですね。

This tourist farm is located about an eight-minute drive north-west from Izu-Atagawa Station. The farm grows a variety of fruits on its nearly 50,000-square-meter grounds. Visitors can also enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing and camping. Other facilities include a pottery classroom and a restaurant. The farm's biggest attraction are the different seasonal hands-on activities on offers. The farm also offers all-you-can-eat strawberry and mandarin orange picking plans as well as an orange tree ownership system. Guests can also enjoy barbequing together with their pet dogs without needing to bring any food or equipment. It is even possible to have the fish you just caught cooked at the restaurant.

This is a farm located in Naramoto, Higashiizu Town, KamoCounty. This farm grows the two variety of strawberries, Akihimeand Benihoppe. Visitors can pick and eat all they want for 30 minutes while in season, from the end of December through the beginning of May. Between rows that are wide enough for baby carriages and wheelchairs, the high quality cultivation provides for wholesome fruit that never touches soil.

Highly recommend this fun outing. This farm provides a free van shuttle service from the Atagawa train station to the farm, just 10 minutes away. For 1;100 yen, you are allowed to pick and eat as...

This tourist farm is located about a 15-minute drive from Kawazu Station on the Izu Kyuko Line. Guests can enjoy eating all the blueberries they can pick for 40 minutes, from July 13th to around August 25th. Its massive nearly 10,000-square-meter grounds have been planted with around 1000 blueberry trees including varieties such as Home Bell and Woodard. The farm also sells packs of blueberries to take home, local produce, and other items. We also recommend their blueberry shaved ice topped with a refreshingly sweet blueberry syrup. Visitors can also feed the goats at the farm's mini goat ranch. The farm also offers barbequing (reservation required).

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
