- Shizuoka Pref. Kamogunmatsuzakichou Kumomi
- This coast with a head-on view of Mt. Fuji is popular for its beautiful scenery, for its seashore footbaths, and for the Akaihama open air baths located a walking distance away. These hot springs are great because you are allowed to wear swimsuits, meaning that if you get cold you can jump straight in and warm up. Note that while there are showers and toilets, there are no changing rooms or other beachside facilities, so prepare ahead of time.

- Futo Beach
- Travel / Tourism
- Shizuoka Pref. Kamogunnishizuchou Nishina
- A place where you can observe a dike grouping which forms part of the magma route supplied to the former submarine volcano, Ukishima Coast is popular as a diving spot with highly transparent waters even as a small coast. Also, it features a spot with tidal pools so you can enjoy the rocky shores. It is not a sand beach, so remember to bring beach shoes and be careful to avoid injury.

- Yagawa Beach
- Travel / Tourism
- Shizuoka Pref. Kamogunminamizuchou Mera
- At Yagawahama, you get to the beach by ferry, and it used to be a place where boats carrying watchtowers and nets to land a big catch of fish coming into Mera Bay would wait on standby. Stone walls still remain where there used to be buildings. For a long time it remained untouched, but it was reborn in 2010 and became a beach that seems like a private beach. The open season is from early July to early September.

Shizuoka Areas
With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
