    "The fishing port of Ajiro in Atami, which has prospered since the Edo period, is one of the three deepest bays in Japan and is said to be the birthplace of ""horse mackerel sashimi"" using the abundant horse mackerels. The Atami Station shopping street is lined with souvenir shops offering dried and fish paste products and Japanese restaurants serving fresh fish dishes. One of them, ""Kobayashi Japanese Restaurant,"" has been in business since 1970 and is a popular restaurant serving fresh fish dishes."

    支払いが現金のみの食事何処ですが、お刺身や金目鯛煮つけなど、旅館ででてきた料理より新鮮で甘みこくがありました。めったに食べられない美味しさでした。 一階の干物店も現金のみですが、帰りに出向いてあじの干物、サーモンハラスを買って帰りました。 当然、家での干物でのご飯は最高でした。 お勧めいたします。
