- This limestone cavern is located Inasacho Tabatake, Kita Ward, Hamamatsu City. About 400 meters of its 1,000-meter length are open to visitor. Visitors can enjoy exploring the cavern, which stays around a comfortable 18°C all year long. The cavern's substantial surrounding facilities include a museum, restaurant, souvenir shop, and a gelato shop.

This was my first time exploring a cave and it was fun! Great for the family! It had hills and areas that was cool to maneuver through! The walk is not that long so it is great for any age!

- Miho no Matsubara Pine Grove

- "Miho no Matsubara is a scenic area located on the Miho Peninsula in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City. It is famous for a roughly 7km long stretch of beach that is lined with around 30,000 pine trees, and because of its association with the famous Legend of Hagoromono (""Feathered Robe""); there is one particular pine tree, called the ""Hagoromo no Pine Tree,"" on which, according to the legend, a celestial being who had been flying over the beach hung her feathered garment so that she could bathe in the sea. Miho no Matsubara's beautiful scenery has made it the subject matter of countless paintings and poems over the centuries, including Utagawa Hiroshige's ""Famous Views of the Sixty Noted Provinces"" and ""Pine Groves of Miho in Suruga Province."" In 2013, the Miho no Matsubara pine groves were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the ""Fujisan, Sacred Place and Source of Artistic Inspiration"" World Heritage site."

- A mountain-climbing entrance at Awakura, Fujinomiya City. It is accessible from the Mt. Fuji Skyline (Prefectural Route 152). It is the starting point for the Fujinomiya Route from the southern face of Mt. Fuji to the peak. It features a steep slope and is located at a high elevation of 2,400 meters, making the distance to the peak is shorter, so many climbers choose this route.

- This waterfall is located in Kamiide, Fujinomiya City is sourced by spring water from Mt. Fuji. - This is a mountain in Shimoda City. The mountain got its name from the ridge line at the crest which looks like the outline of a woman sleeping on her back. An aerial tramway near the IzukyuShimoda Station connects passengers to the peak of the mountain from which a panoramic view of downtown Izu, Mt. Amagi, and the seven islands of Izucan been seen.

- This coastal area southwest of Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture was formed some 4,000 years ago when Mt. Omuro erupted and lava flowed into the ocean, after which the waves eroded the rock over many years, creating rough and precipitous cliffs. There is a nine kilometer long “Picnical Course” hiking trail following the peninsula renowned as a key sightseeing destination in Izu. Notable locations along the course include the thrilling 48 meter long, 23 meter high Kadowaki Suspension Bridge and the Kadowakisaki Lighthouse, which also has a viewing platform for visitors. In addition to offering beautiful views of the Seven Islands of Izu, the area is also a popular diving spot.

- This is a mountain of 580 meters above sea level in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. There is a crater on the summit with a diameter of about 300 meters, and you can also enjoy walking around the circumference of the crater. The purpose of “Yamayaki” (burning the dead grass off a mountain) which has been done for more than 700 years was in order to obtain Japanese nutmeg which was formerly used as animal feed for livestock. Nowadays, it is done on the second Sunday in February every year, and many people visit for sightseeing. The mountain was designated as a Natural Monument of Japan in 2010.

- This lake to the west of Mt. Fuji in Inokashira, Fujinomiya City has a circumference of around four kilometers. Visitors can enjoy the seasonal scenery of the lake shore, which includes cherry blossoms and autumn foliage, as well as activities such as boating, camping, and Japanese crucian carp fishing. Because of Mt. Fuji's position due-east of the lake, the visitors may be able to catch a Double Diamond Fuji, which refers to when a sunrise directly over Mt. Fuji's peak is reflected on the lake's surface.

- This gorge is located in Kawanehoncho, Haibara County, Shizuoka Prefecture. Some of its attractions include the Yume no Tsuribashi suspension bridge, which spans Oma Dam Lake, as well beautiful seasonal scenery including fresh spring greenery and colorful autumn foliage. Vestiges of the area's once-thriving forestry industry such as Hiryu Bridge and the area's trekking trails have been transformed into a sightseeing promenade. The area also serves as the trailhead for climbing Mt. Asahidake, Mt. Maekurohoshi, and Mt. Sawaguchi, and other mountains in the deep south Southern Alps.

- Seven waterfalls located on the Kawazu River in Kawazu Town, Kamo County, Shizuoka Prefecture—the O-daru, Deai-daru, Kani-daru, Shokei-daru, Hebi-daru, Ebi-daru, and Kama-daru. The highly unique and charming scenery of the falls’ was created some 25 thousand years ago by a lava flow from a volcanic eruption. A famous sightseeing spot in Izu, visitors can visit all of the walls by walking an 850 meter long promenade. A bronze statue in front of the Shokei-daru recreates a scene from Yasunari Kawabata’s novel The Dancing Girl of Izu, and is a popular spot for people to take photographs with. Note: Due to typhoon damage caused in 2011, the O-daru is currently not viewable by the general public, and there is no current schedule to re-open it. The falls are only viewable by Amagiso ryokan inn guests and day trip hot spring bathers.

- Nicknamed “Biwa Island,” this cape in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture extends approximately one kilometer into Suruga Bay. Famous both for its view of Mt. Fuji and as a diving spot, the cape bustles with divers year round. Highlights of the cape include its forest of Chinese junipers, a nationally designated Natural Monument; a mysterious pond at the tip of the cape whose waters remain fresh despite its proximity to the sea; and Ose-jinja Shrine. In summer, great numbers of beachgoers gather at Ose Beach. During the Ose Festival on April 4, young men dressed as women board a boat and set sail for Ose-jinja Shrine.

- A waterfall 25 meters tall and seven meters wide located in the Yugashima area of Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. This famous Izu sightseeing spot has even been selected as one of Japan’s 100 most beautiful waterfalls. The steep basalt cliff of the waterfall is covered with chain ferns, which are designated Natural Monuments. Thanks to the falls’ waters, the surrounding area is cool even in summer. The falls are famously mentioned in enka folk singer Sayuri Ishikawa’s hit song Amagigoe, and a monument inscribed with the song stands near the falls. Paddies dedicated to growing Wasabi, a local specialty product, stretch into the distance along the falls’ mountain stream, and nearby visitors will find a souvenir shop and tourist information center. Visitors can also enjoy an abundant variety of local specialties in the area, including wasabi soft serve ice cream, steamed dear meat buns, and wasabi rice bowls.

- This mountain pass in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City is located in foothills that jut out into Suruga Bay. It connects Yui-shuku and Okitsu-shuku, the 16th and 17th stations of the 53 stations of the Tokaido Road. The Tokaido Main Line, National Route 1, and the Tomei Expressway overlap at the base of the pass with Mt. Fuji in the background, making the pass a popular spot for taking pictures. Although steep and narrow, there is a promenade lined with mandarin orange orchards that connects Okitsu Station and Yui Station.

- These dunes are located near Enshunada Coastal Park of Nakatajima-cho, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu City. The dunes are known for the wind ripples carved in the sand by the wind blowing in from Enshunada. From mid-May to late-August, the loggerhead turtle-an endangered species-comes ashore to lay its eggs here. It is often promoted as a site for filming video, and it is very popular as a location for movies.

- The Inatori Hosono Plateau in Higashiizu Town is an area of tableland that reaches a height of 422 meters above sea-level. There are wide open spaces covered with susuki (Japanese pampas grass), and spectacular views of Sagami Bay. The Plateau is also famous for having four areas of wetland that are important habitats for endangered species, and which have been designated as Prefectural Natural Monuments. Various special events are held on the Plateau, including the “Autumn Susuki Event,” when visitors can enjoy the vistas of golden susuki grass, and the “Inatori Hosono Plateau Sansai-gari (Edible Wild Plant Gathering)” activity in spring.

- "A cape with a fantastic view located in the Koshimoda, Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is said that if you ring the Love Call Bell situated on the observatory deck three times while saying the name of the person you love, your love will be fulfilled. After ringing the bell, you can get a ""Proof of Lover's Declaration"" certificate issued for a small fee at the management office at the entrance to the walking path, after which you will be sent a birthday card and, if you get married, a congratulatory telegram."
