    This farm and farmer's market is located about a 20-minute drive or a 35-minute bus ride from Shimoda Station. It is situated at the Kano Intersection on the right side of National Route 136 heading west from the Ginnoyu Kaikan. As the name suggests, it sells Onsen Melon, a specialty of Minamiizu. The fruit is available for purchase year-round. Although melon farming in Shimogamo Onsen became widespread beginning in the Taisho period, this is the only farm in the area that still exclusively grows muskmelons. Its melons are notable for their high quality and their high sugar content of 14% and above. The farmer's market does not do consignment sales, so it occasionally sells out. The shop front is lined with cacti and pottery.
