    A ranch about a 15-minute drive from the Hirugano Kogen Smart Interchange on the Tokai Hokuriku Expressway (only accessible with electronic toll collection (ETC) cards). They care for Kiso-uma, Honshu's only Japanese native horse species, and also run a tourist ranch where you can enjoy horseback riding. Kiso-uma average about 135-centimeter-tall and are stocky with short torsos and a friendly disposition. Since they are gentle, everyone from small children to adults can ride worry-free. Their Hirugano Hoplodge pension on the grounds offers a horseback riding package where visitors can get in a lot of riding on both the day of their stay and the day after.

    This farmer's market in Takasu-cho, Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture sells dairy products from highland raised dairy cows. They procure safe milk from healthy dairy cows raised by carefully selected dairy farmers. They actively work on product development, offering such unusual items as their Sera Cheese Cake made with whey (a cheese by-product), a gourd-shaped hanging cheese called caciocavallo, eastern France's unique, high protein cancoillotte cheese sauce, and more.

    This kimono shop is located in Gujo Hachiman, famous for the Gujo Odori dance festival. Based on the concept of creating a new sense in everyday life by re-proposing a piece of dignified inherited Japanese culture that had been lost, they coordinate each and every customer’s encounter with the best kimono that suits them. They also offer rentals in addition to selling them. Most young Japanese people can’t put on kimonos by themselves. But it is free to be dressed the rental yukata by a kitsukeshi (person who helps another person get dressed), and they can be rented until the end of the dancing on the day of the Gujo Odori festival. During the Tetsuya Odori (late night dancing held for four nights during the Gujo Odori festival) period, and their rental hours are extended until midnight.

The shop carries a variety of stylish and cute paper lantern lights made by hand using Japanese washi paper, and the shop’s wide selection includes everything from ceiling lights to table lamps. In addition to old-fashioned, Japanese-style lights, the shop also offers chandelier-style lights, blue lights inspired by the ocean, and more, ensuring customers can find lights suitable not just for a Japanese-style room but Western-style rooms, halls, and all manner of interior areas. Delicate and beautiful Japanese washi paper lights also make great souvenirs and gifts to give back home for international travelers. The shop is only regularly closed during the New Year’s holidays, although the shop might also close occasionally as necessary.
