    Gifu Pref. Tajimishi Honmachi 6-10-1
This antique shop has white outer walls and tiled eaves that have a retro feel. The store is on Honmachi Oribe Street, heading from Tajimi City’s Honmachi 6-Chome intersection towards Tajimibashi Bridge. They mostly sell daily items and antiques like dishes and cups used in the 1950s. Prices are reasonable, and they also have items that will surprise you. They’re only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 pm, so it’s a good shop to visit when sightseeing on the weekend.

Tucked away in the very center of Japan, Gifu prefecture houses mountains, old towns, and one of Japan’s greatest hot springs, Gero Onsen. A tour of the prefecture’s traditional architecture will take you from the mountain-enveloped wooden streets of Takayama to the mountain village of Shirakawago, where visitors can explore 250-year-old thatched roofed houses known as gassho-zukuri.
