    Located in Okumino the Takasu Snow Park is the largest ski resort in western Japan. The top of the ski slope is 1550 meters above sea level and the longest slope is 4800 meters long. There are 12 slopes in total. The half pipe has also been designed to be enjoyable for both novices and more experienced skiers and snowboarders. There is also a ski and snowboard school. Inside there are changing rooms places to eat and drink shops and an area for kids to play free of charge. At the summit cafe you can take a break from the slopes while enjoying the spectacular scenery.

    Dynaland was the first ski slope in western Japan to light up its slopes and also hold firework festivals. There are a total of 20 slopes for beginners intermediate and advanced skiers. The ski resort has a neon park for nighttime skiing and ‘chibikko plaza’ where young children can enjoy playing in the snow. The ski school also offers skiing and snowboarding lessons for children. Facilities include changing rooms restaurants shops and equipment rental. There is also a daycare facility on request.

    Good for day trips as only 1.5h away from Nagoya and tour bus packages are available. However, for a longer stay, one does gets tired of doing the same 2 runs (1 green and 1 red). Perhaps it will be...

    On a fine day from the top of the slope you can see views of the Northern Alps (Hida Mountains) from Mt. Ontake to Mt. Yari. Everyone including beginners can ski on the 5000 meter trail from the summit. Pro snowboarder Ryuji Takai created the Chikei Park. Skiers and snowboarders can also enjoy the DC Park created in collaboration with DC. Not only adults can have fun on these slopes but children also can play safely in the kid’s park the largest in western Japan. On site you’ll also find a Murasaki Sports shop and gift shops selling Okumino and Meiho souvenirs as well as a foot bath.

    This ski resort is about a five-minute drive from the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway's Hirugano-Kogen Smart Interchange. The slopes are broad and fully visible, making them safe for beginners and children. They have five beginner and three intermediate level slopes, and kids love their Hirugamo Kids Land with a big sledding hill and snow mountain play area. They hold a variety of events every Saturday and Sunday, including sledding tournaments and family obstacle races. Ski and snowboard lessons are available for kids three years and up, so it's the perfect venue for their first time on the slopes.

    スキー場がオフシーズンにはピクニックガーデンとして変身しきれいな花々を見ることができます。10月には桃色吐息と称しコキアやコリウス、ペチュニアを楽しめました。コキアが有名のようですが、ひたち海浜公園などと比べるとかなり小規模で株も小ぶりでした。

    Starting with the 400 meter wide main trail Washigatake Ski and Snowboard Resort has 13 trails in total. The ski season begins here in November with the largest ice crusher in Japan paving the way. Various kinds of food can be enjoyed in the restaurant in the center house. The berry tart made by a specialist pastry chef is their most popular cake. The natural Washigatake hot spring accessed directly from the slopes has outdoor baths and saunas the perfect treatment for tired bodies.

    An outdoor ice skating rink facility located a 10-minute drive from the Ena Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. The skating rink is the westernmost in Japan. There is a 400-meter speed skating rink and a 30-meter by 60-meter sub rink, and in winter the facility is used for ice skating and curling, while in other season the rink is used for a variety of events such as inline skating and futsal. The facility is also equipped for nighttime sessions and holds nighttime skating sessions as well as Christmas events. The facility rents skates as well as helmets and pads for inline skating.

    A lodge and campground on the Hiwada Highland with a view of Mt. Norikura and other Northern Alps peaks, as well as Mt. Ontake to the south. In addition to European style cottages, they have car camping sites you can pull into, an indoor tennis court, and more. The Center Lodge in the middle of the campground has guest rooms and a public bath that those staying at the lodge or cottages can use for free. Its 1,300-meter highland location with comfortable midsummer temperatures of around 25 degrees centigrade is perfect for sports practice.

    You can reach this center by taking a Nohi Bus from JR Gero Station and getting off at the Gero Koryukaikan bus stop. It has a multi-purpose arena used for sports practice and tournaments as well as concerts and events. On the 2nd floor of the arena, there's a roughly 200 meter running track around the stands. There is also a children's play room that's sometime used as a nursery by the organizers. They also have facilities like their Izumi Hall that hosts classical music recitals, various performing arts, and film viewings.

    This spot is where you can enjoy various sports and recreational activities, and is located in Kaizu City, Gifu Prefecture right near the Nagaragawa Service Center bus stop of the Kaizu City Community Bus. In the central Center House, there is a river information room that serves as a base for flood-fighting activities, meeting and training rooms that can be used for conferences, gatherings and light sports, and a training room with adjoining changing and shower rooms. At the river, there is an area where you can go canoeing and practice rowing, and the grass plaza is suitable for exercising and can even be used for ground golf.

    Whitepia Takasu has a fabulous view of Mt. Hakusan, one of Japan’s top three peaks. It also has a freestyle park and mogul course, in addition to trails for everyone from beginners to advanced level skiers. Direct bus tours are available from Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya, making the resort a good option for skiing beginners. The Center House right in front of the slope accepts overnight guests.     コースは難しいです。バンカーが多く打つ場所を考えないとその次で行き詰まり破綻します。飛距離ばかり気にするのではなく方向性です。ゴルフ場のスタッフは、皆さん素晴らしい方ばかり。挨拶が凄い❗なかなか出来ないことです。コースメンテナンスは最高❗レストランは追加料金なしのメニューも美味しい。また来週行きます。

    ラウンドでした。コースは難しいところも有りますが楽しいコースです。池やバンカーもやや多く起伏にとんでいて面白いです。lunchも美味しいし、オススメです!
