    Kozenji Temple contains ten halls and is widely revered as the dwelling place of many deities of the South Shinshu region. It was established in 860 by Honjo Shonin and was mainly built to worship Acala, the God of Fire. The temple is undergoing renovations and maintenance until 2020, so some pathways have been changed. Make sure to confirm in advance. It’s about 10 minutes by car from the Komagane Interchange on the Chuo Expressway.

    We came to see the weeping sakura but were impressed by this temple. Very tranquil temple with a well-laid out garden backed up to the natural mountain forest. The sakura are of many, many varieties...

    "This tourist facility nearby Komagatake Ropeway is located in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture, and has gained popularity for their soft-serve ice cream using ""Suzuran milk."" It has a direct sales shop that sells local specialty products and fresh seasonal vegetables and the ""Ajiwai Kobo"" where you can taste Nanshu beer, making it a place to buy a variety of souvenirs. It is used not only by tourists to Mt. Komagatake but also many local residents."

    観光案内所と菅の台バスセンターのロープウェイ乗り場付近はfree wi-fiがありますが日によって接続が悪い場合があります。

    "This silkworm and silk museum is located in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture. In the permanent exhibition on the first floor, they exhibit the history of silk and the process of weaving raw silk. In addition, there is an experiential workshop where you can come into contact with silk, and you can have various experiences such as ""cocoon crafts."" On the second floor, there is a museum shop, all-you-can-eat restaurant and other facilities, making it a place to enjoy yourself all day long."

    孫娘たちと駒ヶ根に行った折に立ち寄った。久しぶりに繭を見た。孫娘たちは、はしゃぎながら創作に取り組んでいた。

    A tourism-oriented farm located in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture. Here you can go strawberry picking with an advance reservation and eat Akihime strawberries grown hydroponically with Alps snowmelt and soil. The farm also accepts large tourist groups and offers parking for large busses. The farm is open from January to June.

    紅ほっぺとアイベリー1月初旬との事もあり、1週間前に予約したら 簡単にできました。 場所は駒ヶ根インターを右折、1分もかからない左手にあります。 お土産店やレストランも同じ敷地内にあり便利です。 駐車場は団体バスやマイカーも20台ぐらい停めれます。 料金は45分で1800円ですが、ホームページに100円の割引券があり、 使用できます。

    This mountain ropeway in Nagano Prefecture extends from Komagane City to the Central Alps Senjojiki Cirque (the commonly used name for the area directly under Mt. Hoken in the Central Japan Alps). The ropeway is also Japan's highest. One trip takes around seven and a half minutes. From the platform of the ropeway's terminus, Senjojiki Station, visitors can get a sweeping view of the Southern Japan Alps as well as Mt. Fuji.

    Located on the site of the Yomeishu Komagane factory, this rest space allows visitors to hear the babble of the water flowing from the Chuo Alps (Kiso Mountains) and hear the chirping of the birds. Peonies bloom every year from the end of May until the beginning of June, and a peony potpourri-making event is held. There are many other seasonal events as well. Along with factory tours, visitors can also enjoy strolling through the forest and by the river that runs through it. It’s about 15 minutes by car from the Chuo Expressway Komagatake Interchange.

    A highland located 800 meters above sea level at the foot of the Kiso Mountains (Central Alps). Known as the highest highland area in the Ina Valley, visitors can view such picturesque sights as the Senjojiki Cirque, a valley formed through glacial erosion; Onuma Lake, and Komagaike Pond. The Komagatake Ropeway can be used to reach the top of Mt. Kisokoma, also known as Mt. Komagatake, and the area is a popular destination for mountain climbers. A ski resort also operates in the area in winter.
