    斑尾の情報収集のために最適な場所です。まず飯山からくると山の家前というバス停があり、そこでいったん降りてここに立ち寄ると動線が良いです。

    This international exchange center in Kura no Machi, Suzaka City was built in the mid-Meiji period and is a Heritage of Industrial Modernization site once used to store cocoons. It is often used as the starting point for excursions in Kura no Machi and offers both rental bicycles and souvenirs, making it a very convenient spot. Of course, it also offers tourism information. It’s about an eight-minute walk from Suzaka Station on the Nagano Line.

    This tourist facility is on Prefectural Route 66 in Okuyamada, Takayama Village, Kamitakai County. It has a sales corner for local products, a footbath, a tea room that serves light fare, an event plaza, an exhibition space, and more. The second floor has a Japanese-style room that you can use for a rest after a visit to Oyu, the adjacent hot spring facility. A tourist office provides area information as well as help with accommodation, making it a great starting point for exploring Takayama Village.

    信州高山温泉郷の、山田温泉大湯の向かいにある、観光案内所。外に足湯があり、中は観光案内所があり、地域のものを販売しています。このあたりは、たくさんの温泉地があり、温泉めぐりが楽しめるところですが、情報発信や湯巡り手形のようなものもなく、訪問しずらいところです。こちらの場所がそういう役割を担っていただけることを期待したいです。

    "A tourist information center dedicated to Akiyamago, the collective name for the 12 settlements which dot the area along National Route 405 sandwiched between Mt. Naeba and Mt. Torikabuto. ""Tonenbo"" means ""things brought together"" in the local dialect. There's a folk museum in the building with exhibits on local customs such as Yakihata slash-and-burn agriculture and matagi (traditional hunter) straw capes; and an exhibit corner introducing the geopark at the foot of Mt. Naeba. In addition, the center sells handicrafts. An old Japanese home open to the public for viewing is located a three-minute walk from the center."

    Staff so friendly and helpful, did the onsen trail. Collected over 20 stamps so recieved a free gift. Really good fun as gets you around the whole town.
