    This large 53-hectare park is located in Kyonan area, the southern part of Yamanashi Prefecture. The well-equipped park's facilities include large grassy spaces, a fort-style playground with a large playset, a massive hedge and tree maze, a large flower bed, a large splash pad, a dog park, a barbequing area, and a canoeing pool. The park also features a roadside station and an art museum, making it a great place to spend a day.

    This scenically beautiful park spreads across the side of Mt. Oboshi in the southwestern tip of Kofu Basin. It offers a view of Mt. Fuji and the Fuji River, the Kofu Basin, the Yatsugatake Mountains, and beyond. The park's more than 2,000 cherry blossom trees, including Sato-zakura cherry and weeping cherries, earned it a spot on the Japan Cherry Blossom Association's list of the country's 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots. The park holds the Oboshi Sakura Festival during the annual bloom season that is attended by large crowds of people.

    桜満開の時期に訪問しました。 お祭りが開催されていて、期間中は駐車場が500円となっていました。 県外から桜観光に来て、山梨県内の桜の名所をかなり回りましたが、ここが1番良かったです。山の斜面に桜の木々が植えてあるので、絵面がいい景色なります。 山上では、出店があり、たくさんの花見客が桜を満喫していました。

    This park is located in Ueno, Ichikawamisato Town, Nishiyatsushiro County, a place associated with the noted kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjuro I. Its facilities include a multipurpose hall that can accommodate more than 400 people, a culture museum, the Fureai Hiroba plaza, and the Ikoi no Mori rest area. The park also has a playground with play equipment featuring kabuki-inspired designs. The park is famous for the nearly 2,000 tree peonies representing some 100 varieties that bloom in late April each year.

    This multi-purpose sports ground is along a river in Nishiyatsushiro County, Yamanashi Prefecture. It has both a baseball field and a softball field that you can reserve for a fee. It also hosts the Shinmei Fireworks, Yamanashi Prefecture's biggest display. Held annually on August 7, the nationally popular event features an elaborate program including music and a light show. It was chosen as the number one firework display by top ranked pyrotechnics masters on the Tokyo Broadcasting Service's show Job Tune.

    This park is about a 20-minute drive from Shimobeonsen-Hayakawa Interchange on the Chubu-Odan Expressway. The park is located upstream the Shimobe River past Shimobe Onsen Resort. It is one only habitat in Japan where genji-botaru (Luciola cruciata) fireflies reproduce naturally. The clear water that flows through the park's brooks is a sign of the efforts that volunteers from the local hot spring district have made in order to preserve the firefly's habitat. The best time to see the fireflies is in mid-June. Many flowers bloom profusely around the park's waterways and the chirping of wild birds can also be heard in the park. Some of the park's attractions include a hill with a gazebo at the top and a grassy square. Visitors can also enjoy taking a stroll through the park during the daytime.

    "This history museum collects and exhibits artifacts including Buddhist images carved by the Edo period monk Mokujiki as well as ancient documents. Mokujiki traveled all over Japan and left behind more than 1,000 Buddhist statues across the country during his lifetime. His works have a creative style that does not conform to traditional styles of Buddhist carving. Called ""mishobutsu"" (smiling Buddhas) for the faint smiles on the mouths of many of their mouths, his Buddhist images were widely worshipped by the common folk. The nearby birthplace of Mokujiki is open to the public as Mokujiki Memorial Hall."

    A tourist farm on a hill overlooking the Kofu Basin, Mt. Fuji, and Mt. Yatsugatake, where visitors can experience picking pears such as La France. It takes about a month from harvest to ready-to-eat time, but we prepare the pears fully ripened in advance, so visitors can sample and compare two or three varieties at any time after enjoying the harvest. From September to November, the farm sells not only pears but also persimmons and other fruits. In the off-season, jams, juices, and other processed products are sold.

    "This gallery is out about two minutes from Masuho Interchange on the Chubu-Odan Expressway. It is located inside a renovated miso brewery built more than 150 years ago where Yorozuya Jozoten once made miso paste and soy sauce. The first floor features a cafe and a shop where visitors can buy exclusive products such as an undiluted daiginjo version of Shunnoten, the brewery's flagship sake, as well as castellas cakes made with sake lees. Sake tastings are available for fee. The ""Roku"" gallery on the second floor holds exhibitions on an irregular basis. Every autumn, the gallery exhibits a collection of the poet Yosano Akiko, who had a connection with the brewery."

    道の駅には、何度も寄らせてもらっています。村おこし関連のテーマパークと云っては大袈裟ですが、公園で、膝のリハビリ？を兼ねて、ゆっくり散歩しました。平日で、山奥ですので、車は、１０台くらいあったみたいですが、以前施設は見ています。散歩するには、いい感じですよ。
